Yeah, one of those and a slice of the cheesecake they used to sell and you are in gastronomic heaven.

In all seriousness me and my mates used to drive from Elizabeth to the Jetty just for a yiros. Nowhere else in SA had such excellent Yiros's. Many a fond memory has their food included.

Normally very patriotic, but I'm yet to have better than Sinbads Kebabs on the foreshore in Cairns. Not sure what they'd be like sober though......

The best damn kebab I ever had was purchased from one of the junk food vendors situated on the road which joins Montmartre with Pigalle in Paris. These came with thick greasy hot chips distributed evenly in the middle of the kebab and they were delicious.

Been a while now, but I think it was one of the two joints visible here:
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source= ... 36,,0,4.86

As it happens I have just returned from France - unfortunately didn't get to Paris, but went to Bordeaux and La Rochelle - and grabbed a kebab one night from one of several joints tucked away behind Place Gambetta in Bordeaux. These also come with chips in them (must be a Euro thing) but this time they were the thin crispy french-fry style, and piled on top of the kebab rather than inside it. Not a patch on the Parisian version.

One of these days I'll embark on a tour of Europe with the sole purpose of writing a kebab lover's guide to the continent. And will probably drop dead due to complications from fat-clogged arteries shortly afterwards.

Add my vote! B&W AB's from Tony, thems were the days. I used to live right around the corner. Funny seeing the boarding houses in the area going for the 'record' (ie biggest) every couple of months!

I agree the Buttered Popcorn one does taste like cheese but thought it was ok. I didn't think much of the Caesar Salad flavour but thought the BBQ Coat of Arms was alright.

New flavours of chips just recently hit the market.

Or were you referring to the AB? (Delicious)

The chips. What brand?
But I've heard of the AB too and I reckon I'll sample one when I head to Adelaide next month.

Usually yiros meat with all the sauces, like sweet chilli, BBQ, mayo, cheese, etc. Don't think any one AB is the same, depends where you go. Yet to get a bad one though.
