Is the now more prominent idea that Port might not even see next year a possibility?

The rumour that Port were days away from being declared insolvent was aired on 5AA last night. Yet it remains only a rumour with nothing of any real substance to back it up so far?

Legitimate question - The Magpies obviously need to act on their financial situation pretty quickly, do they have anything setup that members, supporters and even just the general public can contribute toward to help them out?

(Apologies if this isn't the right topic to ask the question in)

I think that is pretty unprofessional and could lead to other creditors pulling credit lines which is the straw that breaks the camel's back.

The football club has asked for donations from its members and raised about 80k with doing this.

They have also set up an Honour Board fund, in line with their 140th year anniversary. You pay $140 and get your name on a board at the club. They are looking at getting 1000 people to donate for this.

You'd think this would be very achievable, given what they've provided their supporters over the years. A good idea.

So next year we'll have to pay 3 bucks per snag directly to the Alberton butcher?

See, I don't understand that logic.
