there is a broad cross section of football scientists that contribute to this forum who will give us their objective opinion but i do take your point that the one eyed goat farmers from angaston should be moderated more closely.

I am more than happy to be forthcoming with my objective view.
To many punters surprise, I will pick Angaston.
I believe that the Panthers have had their dress rehearsal and will take the next step in 2010.
Excellent mix of experience and youth, well coached and a couple of new recruits to top it off.

The power team of the new millenium 'the magpies' will not bad an eyelid with the loss of greenwood in fact big AK is looking forward to kicking another 17 against whatever he can pull together from the farmers market in 2010

Osama, i heard amoungst all the magpie celebrations that the panthers loss of bain and the pech's to greener pastures

Well done check side - I spoke to my man up at Kapunda and he confirmed Brown is the man. By the sounds of things the players are happy. Apparently they have a couple of players already signed. A forward and an on baller. Word also that McCarthy will play again and Ben Cooke will also play after a few years off to rest the back.

It would be good to see Cooky back. Hopefully he can get his body right, H'es a great player and a good bloke, seemed a shame when he had to retire. Reckon his missus is a physio from memory, so that would be a pretty good start. Any names for the forward and onballer ?

Rightio
Angaston - Possibly peaked last season, might have some impending losses but should be finals material
Barossa District - After a season out of finals, should be a strong contender with good quality incoming players
Freeling - Record Grand Final attendance + good crops + 5 imports = you already know
Gawler Central - Potentially a big faller, losing a few quality players
Kapunda - Local coach and a few returning legends migth lift the Bombers to mid table
Nurioopta - Like the other tigers, season 2010 already doesn't seem like year of the tiger
South Gawler - Who knows...?!
Tanunda - Will they retain players, Greenwood is a big loss but would hurt other clubs much more, still (late) finals
Willaston - Could be 2010's big improver (ie Angaston 2009), but could also be a South 2009.

No tip at the moment, clever player/coach recruitment could mean anything for every club. Should be a good season in 2010.

Had Mick McCarthy working on my diesel Mercedes Benz today.
Said that he will be definetly be making a comeback.
Would have played in 2009, but Milligan showed the mail medalist little respect and made him train with the magoos.

I rang Trigger tonight to congratulate him on his B&F.
He mentioned that Staff gave a 45 minute Martin Luther-King "I have a dream" speech
He made the player waits for presentation night after he went mute following his finals loss.
Apparently the Lion is the king of the jungle and they hunt for larger antelopes.
Too much woopy weed for Staff.

I think that Wells is a bigger chance of going to Waikerie than young Bundy.
I’ve been meaning to catch up with Ferret to ask for the clearance form back.
Wouldn’t have happened in my or your day Plugger.

Angaston - will need a fountain of youth to challenge again
Barossa District - can only buy in success , is there any pennies left in the cookie jar ?
Freeling - Greenwood to be wondering what he has got himself into before the rain sets in
Gawler Central - No hahn no taylor , oh no!
Kapunda - Need a new spine
Nurioopta - stafford's magic wand was broken in straight sets , Gers to firm in as nuri's coach in waiting
South Gawler - milligan to resign , players effected his ability to coach
Tanunda - Looking forward to playing Freeling , a threepeat wouldn't surprise
Willaston - can't be trusted , champagne or sh-t from them

I read the most respectable sports article "GT Sports" this week with a great deal of interest.
The boys had the scoop on Hahn taking over the captaincy for a 2 year stint.
I wouldn't see a need to appoint someone for a set period of time, should have a need to stipulate a period of time.

i agree. seems an odd statement to declare your captain for the next two seasons. the only logical explanation would be that it was within his contract.

NO MERCEY... From all reports the Redlegs are on the look out for a full forward who is a hard worker and a can do attitutde.
$100 per goal, car, house and girlfriend.
Do you know anyone who may fit the bill?
