Check Side i totally agree with you the actual Grand Final day at Freeling was well organized etc etc it was a great day. My comment was mostly to do with the seating that was held together with plastic cable ties and have been broken for a few years now. IF they have finally got around to fixing them then well done but certainly not before time. Once again the Grand Final Day was extremely well organized. Only downside to a great day were the ferals on the outer wing/pocket who decided fighting was more important than having fun

As for Jack Hancock bagging a 13yo on a public forum well that just shows his own immaturity doesnt it.

Would love to keep the kids at Tanunda but when your driving 30-40kms each way to get to training and games then it becomes to time consuming and also eats into the kids homework time etc etc So we have decided to let the kids play footy for a team that is much closer to home. We have 3 clubs all within a 5 minute drive from where we now live.

I got the trifecta Dawes, Harvey and Kurtz.

I haven't been to the club, handed in my ticket along with a few others thanks to dis-honest John Wills, My understanding was that Norm was in Qld. with the Family, Must of used his footy money to take the kids away, another broke promise from Dis-Honest John. I am hearing that both Stelzers have come back, the new coach had a plan of getting Paul James and Pearce from kersbrook, but that fell flat when Brett James didn't get the Norwood Job and is now staying at Kersbrook..., The word around is that Sharpie is going to retire due to have a bad back, my need an Operation. Sad if it ends that way for the him, great player. Just on the B&F count did hear that the President Chris Gill didn't bob..... Hmmmmmm. Well Done to Dawes, my pick would have been Kurtz, B.Tayler and C.Thomas tied for the G Centrals B&F, unluckly Howard..

I think the low numbers really were to do with the success of the dogs this year, everyone jumped off the band wagon. Watch out for the band wagon to be once again overloaded in 2010 when the doggies start winning their way to another finals campaign. Toot! My money will be that the Bomber bozo's take the asy option and go for Rob Brown or Mick McCarthy. Less money on the coach and more on players!! As long as they get someone with more personality than "Spike" Milligan they should be OK.

From all reports this shouldn't be a problem as the Tanunda playing budget has been halved after their post premiership celebrations in a certain Tanunda licensed premises. These costs have blown out beyond $12,000 plus.
The Freeling open cheque book may be able to aid there cause with a clearance fee for the big Mal Hyde and Taylor. Wells may also be included in the package to foot the bill.

12k would be an 5th of Tanundas playing budget. minimum. heard the condition of tanunda footy club footing the bill and not passing it onto the player was that the player remained at tanunda for season 2010 and held off chasing the big $$$ on offer for him around the state. not sure who the player is. heard he wears number 99 tho.

Complete load of bulldust you guys, there was damage done in both TFC and the Valley but it was by an outsider by the intitials of LM. So bad news Tanunda is not missing $12K from its budget.

Days no truth in that one either, the only problems where with a small band of people who did not like the nudey run and some tipped over wheelie bins which was poor form and they have been dealt with. I've heard Kapunda may be close to signing a coach for the 2010 season.

What would be wrong with appointing a local coach - as all clubs except South Gawler have done.
