News out of the Tailem camp, they apparently appointed Dylan Hogarth captain for 2010, which I guess brings an end to the rumors he is going to Karoonda. And I'm told Muffy Kartinyeri will stay. Good news for them.

And on the coaching front, I heard former Collingwood/Port Adelaide player Matt Lokan is in talks with the club. Can anyone confirm this??

Have also heard that Lokan is on Tailems radar as coach as well. Would be good if this is true as he may be able to bring some players with him as he would have to have some contacts

Would find this very hard to believe!!! Would be a massive call to appoint a captain, without a coach even being at the club yet. What happens if they hate each other??? Simply wouldn't be that stupid.

- Is Fielke staying as coach?

RAMBLERS

MYPO
- Pedlers a chance to return
- Crossy staying as coach??

TAILEM

Well its true. I thought the same thing, surely a coach has say in the captain, but apparently he was selected by the committee. I wonder if he knew about it himself? Probably just a ploy to keep him at the club.

Do you know if anyone else was interviewed or the club were looking else where?? Not too sure that is a fantastic apointment... if I was a Jervois player or supporter I'd be very nervous about this.

However, he might bring some young lads down outta the under 18s in town and will definately promote youth into the senior side.

Billing appears to be held in high regard as a junior coach in the RMFL, and the Bloods are rebuilding with juniors to some extent. I would think he'd be a fairly good fit.

Spoke to Trev at presos saturday night & he hasnt or intending to sign anywhere soon. Goolwa will be in the running though with Ewer there as will whatever club Mahony is involved at in 2010.

Great night at Jervois saturday night.
Boys took huge advantage of the free beer. Some funny speaches by the time the A grade presos started. One of the boys, when thanking his missus in his speached referred to her as his handbrake... Going without for awhile i'd imagine
Congrats to all the trophy winners with Braidwood taking out the B&F.
