Did Ronnie "retiring" from the Eagles and Sampson getting the sack happen in the same week?
Was Ronnie booted from the Eagles but they covered it up as him leaving on his own accord?
Must be an impressive package to get Ronnie motivated again...
Is it a Part time or Full time role...I would think the role down there needs a full time coach to be out in the community and active in the regional grass roots clubs to get them engaged in the SAFC...but from what I understand Ron would only be doing it Part time...

All uncontracted players have re-signed with the club for next year and some beyond (see safc web site) so any rumours on those issues can cease.

Good luck Ron!

NEW PANTHER COACH
The South Adelaide FC is pleased to announce that Ron Fuller will be full time coach the Panthers for the next 5 seasons.
Fuller, who was assisting the Panthers find its next coach, advised the Club last week that he would be removing himself from the Coach Selection Committee and lodging his own
application for the role. Following a presentation to remaining Coach Selection Committee members (Headed by Crows Football Manager John Reid) and the full Board of the South Adelaide FC last night, Ron was offered, and has accepted the long-term role.
In addition to coaching the League team until at least the end of the 2014 season, Fuller will also oversee the coaching of all grades of senior and junior football at South Adelaide.
New Panther Coach Ron Fuller boasts one of the most impressive records of modern day SANFL coaches. During a consistent 9 seasons with the Woodville West Torrens FC, he took the Eagles to 8 finals series including the 2006 SANFL Premiership. He also introduced 71 local players to SANFL league ranks and coached 27 local products that went on to be drafted to the AFL.
South Adelaide FC Chairman David Flanagan said “Attracting Ron Fuller to the South Adelaide is a coup. With a proven ability to develop players and strong philosophies we look forward to all senior and junior South Adelaide teams playing with Ron’s trademark commitment, competitiveness, fitness and discipline. On behalf of all Panther members, we welcome Ron and his partner Kerry, for what we are sure will be a rewarding and ultimately successful period for all concerned with the South Adelaide FC”.
New Panther Coach Ron Fuller stated “I am looking forward to the role of coaching the South Adelaide Football Club. I see it as one of the last frontiers of coaching. Throughout the process of finding a new coach I was asked several times if I would apply and as much as I was tempted about the possibilities of coaching the Club there were reasons I couldn’t. As time went on these issues were taken away by the club. In the end, I not only had no reasons not to do it, but I became genuinely excited about the opportunity. There are no illusions about the hard work needed to become a successful club and we are aware that a lot of things need to be improved, but we are also looking forward to these challenges.”
All Panther members are encouraged to be at the Jimmy Deane’s on Thursday 29th October at 6.30pm.to meet new South Adelaide FC League Coach Ron Fuller.
