Yeah he had surgery on a badly broken finger which required pins and so on. Friday he had the pins removed and all looks good in a couple of weeks?

Junior is a quality player depending on how many games he misses to weather or not he will win the assosiation batting. my thoughts is that he is the best batter in the comp.

As I understand it, they have teams in more than one Association --- as Reynella did a couple of years ago, and Edwardstown footy club did last year.

Seaford v Morphies at Seaford

Morphies won the toss and chose to bowl and at tea seaford looking good at 4 for 93. To Morphies credit they faught back and Seaford were all out for 149 on a very slow outfield with 64 overs bowled. Morphies went into bat and at the end of the day they were 0 for 16.
B.Ross 33,A.Bubner 24,S.Williams 18*
M.Byrne 3 for 15,S.Russell 2 for 24,S.Carlton 2 for 18
Outfield should be a bit slower next week so should make for an interesting game.

when did 4 for 93 at tea become looking good, would have had morphies ahead at tea aswell. Looks like it should be a good day at seaford next saturday. If Mcivor bowls well seaford will win, a lot rests on his shoulders this year i think.

Compared to 6 for 81 the year before against Morphies at tea is good i never said that they were in a demanding position. without the likes of allard cooke and hunt i thought it was good. Not to mention the slow outfield which cost us of atleast 20-30 runs
