MR 1- Tough field and always tough to pick the race 1 winner.I m happy to go with number 4 Mute for the win, might get some value on him.
MR 5- Queen of the Hill in this e/w
MR 6- Tough to go past Bentley Biscuit and Royal Ida,Ida's might tack onto the back of New Edge and get a spot,Royal Ida the win.
MR 7- Bit of value in Open Cut e/w
MR 8- This is my tip for the day,Pop Rock, this is my best bet,you will get value and I think it is primed.Win.
MR 10- Sugarbomb is going nicely, win.

And race 6 number 8 Katenian at Eagle Farm is my Barrier 1 special up there.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

Jesus, what a mess of a week that was. One winner @ 4/10 & two placings for the whole round. A loss of $316, bringing our total loss to a nice even $600.
Mad Dog a bit stiff having Tawqeet the place & his sub Chatz leading till the 50, but was the only member to score a profit, well done Mad one.
Commented to Punk that I had'nt had a winning Caulfield Cup day since 1966, thought that may have changed with an early 14/1 winner in Brissy & a tri, but that was about it till the last in Melbourne. Punky was happy that he backed up on Nuclear Free but turned a shade of green when I told him that his comp pick had come 2nd & the popular pick had filled the tri. Payed shithouse though.

That's Racing

Can the Wedgeman pick anymore short price favs?

will get found out in the long run as the carnival goes deep less and less favs win - was it last year or the year before that over the 4 days at flemington only 1 favourite won from nearly 40 races?

Ahh fellas, do I detect some jealousy?
An old jungle saying is its better to back a short priced favourite than a long priced loser.
And give me a break, last time I followed the GGs was when Veandacross was taking on Naturalism!
