Brad Hardie on 6PR claiming it's a done deal. Will believe it when it's on the AFL website.

The same Brad Hardie who told the world Burgoyne would be traded to Hawthorn for Pick 9 and Campbell Brown? Hardie has no freaking idea.

At this stage its only the 2 clubs have accepted the trade. The meeting tomorrow is the 2 lions players to meet with the Carlton officials

If it has been announced on SEN, there's a 95% chance of it being wrong.

That's why I said I'll believe it when I see it. Although he was right about the Campbell Brown thing, Brown just doesn't want to go. Cant blame him really.

Brett Peake off to St K for pick 48. Has some dash but will be a fringe player at best.

Apparently. Don't think it is offical yet.

Is there actually anyone worth getting though ? Or anyone we want to give up ?

I have no problems with Adelaide's attitude to the whole trade thing.

Reidy's comments about some clubs wanting to swap Holdens for Mercedes was a classic on a 5AA the other night !!!

With time running out for the Power to accept a trade for Burgoyne Port may end up with egg on its face again like the Nick Stevens saga years ago.
Theres still a chance Power, Neon Leon Davis is the ideal trade for Shaun.
I think Shaun & his family would enjoy Collingwood.
I'd say his wifes father Greg Phillips would also.

They need to get a move on.
I wouldn't give much more than pick 9 for Burgoyne!
Is he that good? Been All-Australian once if at all?? what 28, And a dodgy knee.

I think its humerous that NO one wants to come to the Power

The Power are the only ones who seem to rate him so highly, otherwise Hawthorn would have given Port what they wanted Lewis etc and a their first pick

On the news last night they said a certain player manager refuses to talk to Port during trade week and also advises his clients to stay clear...I found this quite amusing :D

Not sure why the Crows would dismiss this so quick, i'd take this in a heartbeat...we've got plenty of players who can cover a flanker like Reilly.

Yeah that worked when we traded pick 4 (ended up being pick 2) for Carey and also traded for Ronnie Burns...

just saw this on the AFL site, makes sense to me now regarding order of trades, i never knew how it worked but it is very simple really. i must be an ablosute retard!

ANYWAY..... just wondering how they intend to work it with GC17 coming in, what the order will be and how it will all work out. IIRC they will get 6 or 7 out of the first ten picks in the next PSD?!?
