I don't actually agree with this one... just think how much more interesting the league would have been over the last 25-30 years if we had had bouts of success from West Adelaide and South Adelaide and Glenelg and Sturt and so on...
By restricting the 1990's to just Port Adelaide premierships and the 2000's to Centrals premierships, your unfortunate side effect is to possibly reduce the interest of new or current fans in the competition. Lets be real, what light is there at the end of the tunnel for say a Panthers fan? I'd love to see them make the finals a few years running and play off in a grannie and win, it'd be great for the league, the area and their diehard fans.
While I understand the "manufactured-ness" of having a draft and salary caps and so on, I don't think it does any of us any good to have a competition dominated by one team for an extensive period. This is not a swipe at Centrals either, I'd love Sturt to be in their position, but one cannot doubt that dominance does diminish interest, just look at my beloved EPL, people constantly criticise how it is dominated by Man United etc.
