Just popped out and heard Russell Ebert say on AA the magpies have made the appointment and not announced it yet.And whoever the person is they will only be able to work with the under 18's who made the GF.As they can not afford 3 or 4 imports.

I heard Martin Leislie got the job and accepted. Then Port turned around and said they could only pay him $20,000.He then said no to the job.Geez port must be going bad if this is true.$20,000 is a bit embarrasing.I think you find the reason its been long winded is because no one wants to do it for the money beening offered.

I don't even think Mark Tylor would want it for $20,000.
Tony Bamford's the only one that would take it for that sum.

I think people are just loving the opportunity to take pot shot after pot at Port Adelaide. And now it's so called lack of "professionalism". I say it is the professionalism of the management that is the only thing that has kept it going through these tough times.

And no, I have no affiliation with the PAMFC.

OK he's your new senior coach OR they sacked him after getting flogged on Sunday.

I'd say the first option....

All are products of the Port Adelaide Junior Development System, all are very talented, and all are the future of the club.

And they let Ben Nason go why ??? He was told that he wasn't good enough for reserves footy ... Good chance he will be drafted this year. Great Call Magpies

Tony Bamford has been appointed but i Dont know why they haven't announced it yet ..

Really ... worst kept secret off 2009 I think.

Apparantly he is to serve in dual roles as Senior Coach and to contine with his previous role of junior developement at the same time, so by rolling the two positions into one that may well have made some more coin available for the position.
