Kyle Jenner

Postby Sojourner » Mon Oct 05, 2009 12:15 am

Kyle Jenner left the Magpies to play for Central in the hope of getting to play in a Grand Final and was one of the unlucky ones that did not get to play for Central in the G/F this time around.

Cant ever be an easy thing to see happen, your team mates win the flag whilst you look on from the stands, perhaps even more so when you are in his situation and have changed teams to try and get there. Still with the way Centrals are going, he might as well stick with them as there is every chance he may get another go in 2010!

Was having a few Bundies with Him last night, at first he was pissed off when dropped but as the day went on, he calmed himself & thought things through. He accepts the fact that he is a part of Our victory, even though he didn't play but he is a very important part of the team. He absolutely loves Centrals, will definitely be here next year & onward. He knows he has every opportunity next year to win a flag & that in the end makes him happy & looking forward to the next few years.

Jenner was stiff to miss out - he would have been in my team but he is fitting in well and I hope that he will have a doggies premiership medallion or two before he retires. Still plenty of time.

I think he'll be pretty good next year and could become an important player. Goodrem is a great example for him, a guy who was a bit in and out for a little while then he becomes pretty important for us and wins a JO. A few other younger guys like Nason and Dunne looked like they might be ok, plus the usual few recruits in the off season and no doubt some other kids will come along through the summer training.

Just add him to the list of mistreated Country zone lads who have the talent but sadly are shafted for overpaid hacks.

I'm sure he is disappointed this season but at least he had the chance to play in a GF unlike Port has in the recent past.

He was a walk up start to our team each week. He cant complain about lack of chances at port.

Like he said today he would rather be dropped from a winning GF team, than have played all year for a team that finished 8th.

Why did he leave Port to start with? Was very injury prone during his time there.
