In all seriousness, what is the real reason behind it? I mean, put your head between the shoulders of those who acknowledge other radio stations that do token coverage and seem to forget those who are committed to the cause and work out why?

Of course no one from either LifeFM or RPH, the two stations that between them covered some 85 games last year was asked, obviously noone there deemed to be an expert.

That is pretty insulting and one that wouldn't go unnoticed by the fans as well.. who else are they going to listen to during the year? Everyone who follows the game on the radio knows which station to tune to and it aint the commercial stations, they only get into it when the AFL is either not on or over for the year.
It's all the SANFL's fault.

I just had a quick flick through the season reviews that are in for each team...

Glenelg - Nickname = Tiger
Central - Nickname = Bulldog - 6 premierships (00, 01, 03-05, 07) from 8 Grand Finals (95, 96 00 - 07)....anyone know who played and won last years GF??

Aswell as the stuff that has already been mentioned re the team of the year and the obvious exclusion from the thank yous...Ordinary stuff for the last one of the year!!
Trust the process.

Where did you get it? I tried a couple of the city newsagents today but no luck... :(

In that city newsagent in the same arcade as JBs. They were on the counter.

What did they do, just use last years as a template?

Since its the Grand Final Edition, you would at least think they would remember to add the details of last years one?

You only have to look at some of the tips the so called experts have made for the game to see how little they know about it - Cornesy has tipped Centrals by 10 goals!

Ah yes, and another cut and paste job. How many things can be wrong on the one line?

Most Games: 241 - A.Rogers 1991-1999

Ok, lets name them:

1) Where was Rogers in 1991 and 1992? Playing for Geelong
2) Did he retire after 1999? No, he retired midway through 2001
3) Did the Eagles play 241 premiership matches between 1991 and 1999? Nowhere near as many, only 202. 216 if you include the night series matches
4) Did Rogers play 241 matches for the Eagles? Of course not, it was 179 (includes four night matches)
5) Who actually has played the most matches for the Eagles? Gavin Colville
6) Was it 241? Again, no. It was 232

Why do people employ those who couldn't give a rats toss bag?

There are many errors in the 2009 GF edition.

Chris Gowans, according to the team list, played his 200th yesterday (shows 199). Interestingly the QF edition showed the correct 195 when he played his 196th game.

Round 23 Fixture results show West as 9.4 (51). WTF!

Brain Benders: Question 26 South's last Premiership. Answer 26 1954! WTF!

Don't know if this is an error or not... yesterday's budget had listed under "retirees" James Moss from the Bulldogs. That is something I had missed if true. Can anyone confirm, and if so, the reason why? He's still a kid.

Not Budget related but the scoreboard before the game showed Centrals "outs" as Williams (who played) and Obst (currently at North Melbourne).

Budget page 45 wrong wrong wrong for Doggies

Premierships won should of been shown as 7 NOT 6, 2000,2001,2003,2004,2005,2007,2008

Grand Finals played should of been shown as 11 NOT 8, 1995,1996,2000,2001,2002,2003,2004,2005,2006,2007,2008

But now 8 Premierships and 12, Grand Final appearances.

Are there any other discrepencies in other clubs history in this budget ???

Researchers get ya facts right.

WOOFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SANFL 2000 - 2011 Central District 12 consecutive Grand Final appearances and 9 Premierships.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOFFFFFFFFFF.

Hit em hard let them get up and hit em again.
