couldnt be further from the truth NM. i think you will find that its quite the opposite and the club has fallen on its sword from an earleir precendent that had players gettin huge payments for mediocre performances.. these days i would think that more players there are there for the right reasons and the fact that money is not getting sprayed around is the reason no decent recruits have been lured to the club instead opting to join other northern club$.[/quote]

Your kidding urself if you think Salisbury North don't pay good money. There top players in cutting, Jordan, Hay would be some of the highest paid in the comp.

didnt say there werent a couple on decent money. most clubs with some coin would have their marquee players.. (those guys in team of the yr & state U23 for the past few) Always a fun topic but youd have no clue what they get and what the benchmark is. guess away i suppose..

That's what you are doing hinting the fact that money is not getting sprayed around is the reason no decent recruits have been lured to the club instead opting to join other northern club$ Money is always a sticky subject becuase people always blow it out of context. Players also don't mind blowing there own trumpet when reality is 9/10 there not on anywhere near what they say they are on. I for one think the SAAFL div1 has really sharpened there ways on big spending, Hence you see alot of quality players playing in the country.

Bingo MM, twenty minutes up the freeway you can get $300+ per game, all day, every day at a couple of clubs.
Go in the other direction and for a 1 hour drive it gets even better, problem is, they then get sick of driving, come back to town and reckon they are worth the same coin, give me a break!

Apparently the job is his if he wants it.

Probadly the same senior players that didnt turn up to training for a number of weeks towards the end of the season? or the same group of senior players who helped themselves to the bar one night, effectively stealing from the hand that feeds them. Maybe they are insecure about the new appointment, which may bring change?

Anyone for $1,000 ??
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

so the star players for salis nth are getting nowhere near what the stars for henley are apparently getting, and you say that the salis nth boys are among the highest paid in the comp
not sure of your sources, but from mine, salis nth have calmed down quite a bit when it comes to throwing money around. they tried it for a while and it didn't work, then the year they started to wind the payments back and offload some bigger names, they make the finals, then a year later make the grand final.
sure they had a rough year this year, but i reckon they'll bounce back.

what i'm trying to say is in refenence to the comments that salis nth boys are getting paid a shit load, when i don't think they are. saying that these players are nowhere near earning what rugolo is earning would suggest maybe that they are not earning as much as what no mercy says.
just pointing out the inconsistencies of what NM is saying that's all.
