I derived so much pleasure out of the bays loss to Sturt, and to watch Chris Hall play like a goose in that game was even more rewarding!

Must say, I was rubbing my hands with glee watching Chris Hall do sweet F.A for the Bays on Sunday.

Best on ground last year for Subiaco in their Grand Final win but with Glenelg in a Prelim Final when it was time to step up ......he was nowhere to be seen.

I guess Glenelg's spending spree did not pay off in the long run....

Yeah and you would've enjoyed Chris Hall running around on the shit heap oval of yours collecting a wooden spoon. If South were too stupid to recruit him look at your incompetent football department and ask them the question.....

And the long run. Hey sweetie he signed for two years so more time to stick it up your incompetent club yet.....

If anyone can identify a wasted season it is a South supporter, what is it 45 and counting??

South - Formed 1877, 133 years, 11 premierships = one every 12 years

Glenelg - Formed 1921, 89 years, 4 premierships = one every 22 years

Yep, the late 1800's was a great time to be a South supporter...

I'm so glad I can now sit back and watch these stupid conversations with a smile on my face, knowing that the armoury is well stocked (even if we had to wait for 2000 to start stocking it).

This pis*ing contest between South and Glenelg supporters is gold.

Spelly, has a team ever gone 5 months without losing and not be the GF in the same season, this could be the biggest SANFL choke of all time.

Not five months; as far as I can see, only one other team has had a longer unbeaten streak in a season to miss the Grand Final and that was Port in 1974. 18 games from Round 6 to the Qualifying Final for 17 wins and a draw (with Woodville; their first ever point against Port), then lost the 2nd Semi to Sturt and the Preliminary to Glenelg.

That was from the 11th of May to the 13th of September; then the 14th was the loss against Sturt.

Would've been awesome 20 years ago. They're a shell of their former selves.

For as good a season the bays had(bang bang bays  ) they still struggled to put us away the two times they played us,which is quite remarkable considering how crapfull we were this season!
Who are coach will be next season god only knows, but I hope to hell we can knock you swines off at least once ;)
