Maybe it's time to consider a new name down at Brighton Rd how about Glenelg Chokers. If you can't handle the heat in the September kitchen boys you're better off not being there at all.

We have not fared much better in recent years, although just once have we gone out in straight sets since 1991 - that year. And also that is the only time we have failed to win a match once in the finals series, too.
Stick at it, Bays, persistance does pay off.

Must make you feel a lot better knowing your club is now not alone in playing poorly in finals. Difference here is Glenelg only did it twice. How often did the Eagles struggle? 4 GF losses in 6 years not too ,ong ago does not put you in a great possition to criticise. Although I must admit you are the greatest authorities on choking in the SANFL so perhaps you are more qualified than anyone else to say so.

what a dumb post- the Eagles constantly made the GF's, but came up against a superior CD outfit.
If the Eagles had finished Minor Premier & went out in straight sets, your point would be justified.
Glenelg did what Glenelg do best- choke.

Prelim finals GL played 19
GL won 13
GL lost 6
that one question is
How does a team with that ratio of Prelim finals wins = choke ?

GL DO NOT CHOKE
in Preliminary finals
How does losing todays Prelim Final constitute a choke ?
They beat the same team by a lap in the Prelim Final last year
In fact they have now played 2 Prelim Finals in 2 years and are 1 win 1 loss
Im a bit confused ????????????????????????????
Maybe Im a bit daft but a team witha 13-6 record in Prelim finals are not chokers
