This year.
Glenelg, minor premiers.
Sturt 3rd.
Last year.
Glenelg , minor premiers....no flag!
Sturt 3rd
Going from the form from the last 2 seasons, and the failures of the Glenelg Football Club, I would think that they would've had alot on their head with where they're at in the finals this year, high expectations, at least higher than last year. Bays fans have talked it down for a long season now. I can't see how they can still be talking it down. Pressure! Sturt have ridden this wagon for a while now and proven they can rebound, question is can we get over the line? Let's face it, Sturt are more able and better qualified to roll the Doggies! I think the Bays doubt their ability to do so.

BRING IT ON!!!!!!

LOL, you're talking to yourself.

Sturt haven't got close to the Bays in nearly 3 years, including 2 finals ... who's under pressure did you say? ;)

Enough of that, should be a good game tomorrow, regardless of the weather.

May the best team win!

My tip for the PF & GF:

If the Bays beat Sturt tomorrow Doggies will win another flag

If Sturt beat the Bays tomorrow they will go on to topple the Dogs in the GF

I think the Dogs have it in the bag as I can't see the Bays being beaten by Sturt.

FWIW... I don't think the Dogs will win it this year. I'm just not sure they're as focused as they should be, its just a feeling, I have nothing to back that up, but just think its going to be one of their off years in the grannie.

obviously some of you sturt blokes don't agree with your own coach who said (paraphrasing) at the unley oval game soda's quoted luke norman & the statement was ''you (sturt) are the best team in the comp'' another comment in the paper from luke was ''we had them on toast & let them off the hook''  firstly a halftime lead of 9 points (i think from memory) at half time is hardly on toast & secondly had we kicked straight that day the margin would have been much greater, wasn't it a 2.12 margin ?

as i said in an earlier the bays will bounce back & things wont be rosy for the blues come about 5.40pm sunday
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

ok, all sensibilities aside and noting but beer talking but bays, please, please, please keep up the recent domination and put the blues to the sword tomorrow.
deja vu for me being stuck in taiwan again this year when we take on the sturds and no typhoon on the horizon allowing me to follow the game online. relying on txts to keep me updated as I toil through the afternoon when no matter what confronts me at work tomorrow I'll have only the prelim on the mind. and if we don;t get over the line god help the poor students who will be getting some pretty bad vibes form me re coming to adelaide to study. more to the point i get back into town next saturday the day bfore the biggun. if, after I've changed my work itnerary to breaking point to be back in town and we're not in the gf, there will be a typhoon of tears and anger.
c'mon you mighty bays be there on the last sunday of the season to bring home the firsty glory in 23 years!!!!

Going a fair way back for that one Bayman, dig deeper pal cause you're gonna need to! C'mon, even you can do better than that!
Had you kicked straight in the 2nd semi you wouldn't be where you are today! Had we kicked straight in the Qualy we wouldn't be where we are today maybe! So it all comes down to who is the best on the day, and that comes down to alot of things, one being mental strength and mental pressure, and I think it's ALL on the Bays.
GO YOU MIGHTY MIGHTY DOUBLE BLUES!

Enjoy the game today everyone ... let's accept the result (whatever it is), not whinge about the umpires and get behind the winner to beat the Dogs.

I believe the Bays can and will do it, but if they don't (God forbid) I'll be true to my word.

Oh we're from Tigerland .... boom, boom, boom, boom ...

Just like last year, when the Unley mob was squealing "all the pressure is on the Bays". I'll be happy with another lazy 66 point win.

I think Sturt match up very well against the Dogs and they will struggle if they play Sturt in the GF. If the Bays play the Dogs I think it will be at best 50/50 for the Bays, I really think Glenelg still have a problem beating Central, maybe it's mostly in the head, maybe not but I think the Dogs would win comfortablly against the Bays.
