TROTS 25-26-28 SEPTEMBER + HARNESS HARP

Postby mal » Fri Sep 25, 2009 3:07 pm

FRIDAY NIGHT
R2-7 RAISE THE HAND
Better than these, if ready would be $1-20
If we can snare black odds would be a nice bet
WIN

R5-8 OMAHA BEACH
In very good form
Couple of unknown visitors in the race
Play it safe
QUINELLAS/EXACTAS/ANY2 banker

CANT WINS [207]
R2-5
R3-3

DRIVERS COLOURS
There is some chatter about that could see drivers wearing set colours for the barriers they draw
Talk is the colours might be the same as the greyhound colours
barrier 1 would be red colours
barrier 8 pink etc etc
good idea ?
seems too hard for the drivers to have uniforms

mal there was talk about this around 8 years ago it wont happen as some owners like to see there colours go round which means owners have final say as without owners we have no horses to race. i actually like the idea but some owners have significant input into the industry.

Agree CJE
Would be infinitely easier for the punters [and racecallers?]
However to expect drivers to have at least 10 uniforms is difficult
If the club supplied the uniforms, they would have to have several different sizes
I say leave as is

BUT

Perhaps the saddlecloth numbers could be changed like the coloured greyhound jackets
I reckon that would be a good innovation

Mal is there any chance that you can tip something over $1.04.Everything you tip is under $1.20 and your Betfair lays are 1000/1 shots your starting to be a joke again.
