They will get up by 10goals BC. Chapman willl kick a bag and win the norm smith

Hope you're right mate. If it rains as predicted, I think we are a good chance. Cats are a very good wet weather team.
So you've seen everything have you?

interested to read in the paper Mac grummet was keen to continue next season but North are looking for a playing coach, I wonder if they already have someone earmarked , because it's a tough gig finding a suitable one, and you need BIG $$$$$$.

Yep - was announced at presentation night on Friday night.
Club is hoping a playing coach will add some much needed depth.

Also, does it help with the points in terms of recruiting?

Brad Williams B&F from Josh Nelson btw.

Did all parties concerned leave on good terms? It would be a shame if they didn't.

It's fair to say there was some disappointment.
But, I think, from the outside, everything's fairly amicable.

Personally, I have a lot to thank Mac for this season.
However, there were people inside the club disappointed with some of his actions.
There's also a perception that he's too tough, which meant the kids weren't all that keen on him.
Sadly, sometimes perceptions rule decision making.

That's what I thought.
I remembered that from when Leigh Kruger's appointment was being discussed.

Had a bit to do with the point system and think you will find any player attracts points depending on where they come from. Being the coach is irrelevant otherwise it would get rorted. There is nowhere in the rules where a coach is exempted.

So, was Kruger exempted and how so? Work maybe...
Not trying to have a crack at him or Loxton.
Trying to understand the system.

Jeez, thats a bit harsh on Matt Prior. ;)
Yeah, we used to like to give each other compliments from time to time. I must say though, I enjoyed a memorable night at the Cas with Barrell on a Murray Districts Carny, watching him work the crowd in the two up ring. Management would only let him toss the coins if he pulled his pants up over his substantial plummers crack. So there he was, holding the back of his strides whilst tossing the coins with the crowd chanting Head e'm up DARRELL.

Big Fella wasnt happy though. He had to buy those pants especially for the Casino as he had only packed blue singlets and Loxton footy shorts for the week.
Reckons it was the first time he had been in a shop for ten years. (except for the bottle shop).

I dunno about that. I spoke to Malcolm last week and he said he wasn't keen on applying. Wants a younger fella to do it.

Already busy enough on the centenary committee.
