Watch out Spellcheck , the last remains of Fullers Sheep ( not Hogans Heroes ) is working away , spinning their propaganda , happy to embrace mediocre seasons like in the bad old days . These mostly older types dont really have the fight in them that they once had , apart from Mickyj , Jackel and you . Unlike our Board now , they would have given Fuller many more years to wittle away on the same tired trail ad nauseum ! And you will find that they never let any facts get in the way of a good old Ronny Lovefest ; my personal favorite being the ease with which they ignore any criticism up for debate and ONLY focus on some positives which are minor issues generally . And you Dreamers from other clubs ............... I dont see you guys breaking his door down ...... why not ? Maybe a little of his performance etc. doesnt really thrill you heh !

And what position do you expect to finish next year?

I thought last year we under achieved by finishing 6th .
Against Port the last round the kids were dropped for older heads.that was a bad selection problem. But we lost games we should have won
This year a rebuilding year Fourth was a good finish we could have finished anywhere from fourth to sixth .West Adelaide games should have come back to haunt us .And injuries to players like Powell and Treeby could have hurt the side more than they did.

Next year new coach some new players (perhaps some of those bays guys who cant break in ;) )revitalised old players. Players who were leaving that are staying .Could be anywhere from 3 to 1 :D

i thought that the 'fight' nearing halftime may have been the instigator of the wwt recovery, however after watching the replay it is clear that the change of tactics by wwt was the main catalyst of the recovery
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

You have never provided constructive criticism, you have purported your obsessive vile towards Fuller since you have been on this site.

You hid in your cave after the crap you went on with during 2006 after the premiership was won.

Your that type of bloke that is " Holier than Vow" , yet have no integrity yourself. If you were in politics your name would be Pauline.

You're a gutter rat
If at first you don't succeed , then destroy all evidence that you tried in the first place

While we're on Eagles supporters, there was a bloke sitting infront of us, SE pocket, with his son I presume, and not once did he barrack for his team, that's ok not everyone is vocal, but he was vocal enough to snipe constantly at the umps, Sturt, us and his own team, don't think I heard on ounce of positivity from him all day. We footy supporters are a weird and varied lot but if that's what the WWTFC have as support then they're in trouble.

We wouldnt be alone there Cutterman .at the unley game many of your faithful appeared to be a few roos short of a mob as well.

At this game I didnt bother to argue with anyone(strange for me after the week before ;) ) but my lad said one thing to a blues fan.Hell I even tried to retrieve the sturts fan who was sitting next to me radio that fell on the roof in the members .
And I almost yelled my voice out .

i just wonder how old holden is because before the merger both of wwt's parent clubs, they were basically cellar dwellers for 25 years or so & surely the newborn club has given both sets supporters enough pleasure to have your arms open to embrace it or would you rather them at the bottom of the ladder still mr holden ?

MickyJ remembers the dim old days and I am very happy that the 2 teams merged .Finals almost every year .And I have seen both flags live .Pre that Torrens last flag was 10 yrs before I was born.
You don't have to agree with everything your footy club /team does .But when they win you bloody well better be happy . ;)

I'm to old to go back to watching a side that wins 1 game a year !!
And watch the better teams beat u by 20 or 30 goals !!

Off the original topic (but then, I think we have been for a while now...) but, out of West Torrens and Woodville, who do you feel gained/lost the most out of the merger? You play at Woodville, you're called the Eagles, you have a mix of both teams colours, many of the old timers refer to you as Torrens... I'm not really old enough to remember the SANFL pre-merge...

Ahhh, Clarrie I remember the merge well. (Guess Im a little older than yourself!!)
I was at the last Torrens v's Woodvillie game. My old man was an avid West Torrens supporter. I still have the certificate of attendence somewhere in the shed. The game was played at Woodville in 1990 or 1991 (memory fades with age).
Too me, Woodvillie gained from a personal perspective.
Good days :D
Is out of change.....thanks Cambridge Clarrie!!!
