Chambers IS someone who can kick goals. Sturt's problem when playing Glenelg (in recent times) is NOT the lack of a key goalkicking forward.

Maybe next week I'll post what I reckon their problem has been ;)

Hey Voice sounds like you wanted to join them.

Either that or you fancied one of them! :D

You let me know how you can get beers delivered to your seat and then I won't have to walk anywhere near you guys.

If you thought that was boring, well......I guess you're bored and trolling. Two brilliant, thrilling games two weeks in a row, what a great advertisement for the SANFL. Fantastic atmosphere, from both supporters. Obviously I'm bias from a Central perspective but that was amazing. With one weeks less rest, I thought that would come into play. What an amazing team. So proud of the boys!

only two brilliant games???? didnt you watch anyone other than your own team???

As if they would. They only rock up 5 mins before they play.

Geez mate get the chip off your shoulder. I listened to the Eags and Sturt on the radio then watched about 15 minutes on delayed telecast before walking over to the game. Watched a quarter and a bit. Couldn't really comment as i didn't see it all. Got pretty exciting toward the end seeing if Sturt could hang on. But didn't see enough of the game (but more than 5 mins smart a**). Saw plenty of people from the Sturt Eagles game leave after that game and so what, had no problem with that.
I was responding to posts referring to how Central winning was boring and predictable.

Hmmm.... How much do you reckon it would cost to employ a couple of scantily-clad wenches to ferry beer between the bar and the seats for the duration of the game?

Anyone know of an Australian rules football team thats played in more than ten consecutive grand finals ? I saw in the Bendigo league a team played in seven. Anyone know what the record is, other than in the SANFL?

Depends what grade you are talking about. Thevenard A's played in around 27 in a row from late 60's to early 90's. Ramblers A's at Cummins won about 15 in a row from late sixties. West Coast Hawks colts I think won every GF from 1999-2008 (might be wrong, but certainly played in them all).

True it can be easier in some small country leagues. Guessing the Ceduna league would have had 6 teams, then 5 and now four. Great Flinders would have had at least six, maybe even eight at one stage at a guess.
