No way man. He did it well IMO. For an R&B singer, you can't expect him to come out there with a Lars growl. Lol

Lars? You mean James?
Na I thought it was yucky. Just didn't do the song justice.

Haha.
Actually it sounded more like Lars singing it than James!

Last night - Top 10 show

Sabrina - 2/10 ******* awful effort. Can't believe the judges rated it. Chorus was like a squealing cat. **** off.
Toby - 8/10 Yeah, he's cliche etc and he won't win but he did well with the song, good arrangement, sung it well.
Kim - 7/10 Judges were right, picked a pop song that didn't show a lot off, other than her hot hot body.
Stan - 6/10 Can sing, picked a song that probably didn't need to be sung like that though, got over it quickly.
James - 7/10 The young fella can walk the walk, just hasn't hit his straps yet. Consistently good though.
Scott - 5/10 Start part of the song was dreadful, affected by nerves. Brought it home in the chorus, but an overall awkward effort.
Nathan - 5/10 Gay. ;)
Kate - 9/10 Oooh, I don't like Kate that much but a touching effort, great song choice.
Tim - 5/10 Don't like Tim coz he's nothing special. Will be gone in a matter of weeks.
Haylie - 8/10 Made a poppy chick song into a rocky effort, I really rate her as a chance. Consistent. Smudged lipstick on her top lip so probably the laughing stock of the nation, but she's a good nut this one.

Sportsbet odds

Stan Walker 3.00 - Can sing but a cocky fag, probably won't win.
Nathan Brake 6.00 - Gay ;)
Kim Cooper 6.00 - Hot as **** but might be working against her with the voting public being jealous teenage girls
Hayley Warner 6.50 - Value bet, although has the potential to implode. Like her though, something different.
Scott Newnham 7.00 - The trady does his best but he's an amateur. Do not bet on him.
Sabrina Batshon 7.50 - Write her off too.
James Johnston 9.00 - A roughy, but should make it to top 6 at least.
Kate Cook 12.00 - VALUE. Consistent performer in a nation that loves its country music.
Toby Moulton 16.00 - Do not bet.
Tim Johnston 26.00 - Do not bet.

Pretty much agree with everything you said there SS !!

Good to see you gave Kate 9 out of 10 :D
My husband's thoughts also saying she was the best performance of the night...
She looked a bit out of sorts though,
wonder if the 'big smoke' is getting to her :(
Or maybe she was just sick.

Only disagree on one thing....
I think Nathan's voice is great and I really like anything he's doing.

And for the record...
I know he seems a bit feminine, but he does actually have a girlfriend O:)

Not very nice the judges trying to 'bring him out of the closet' wonder what his girlfriend is thinking !!

He has a missus for cover A Mum. He is definately a homosexual. Anthony Callea was straight until he came out. Elton John was married to an Aussie chick. Nathan likes boys. It's obvious.

Oh yeah, and Sabrina.... Judges were spot on,
She can sing (not last night..lol) but they're right,
It's when she starts talking... Oh my goodness...
I think she'll be going home sooner rather than later.

No, but I'm pretty confident my DO NOT BETS will not win.

I'm thinking Kate, James, Stan and Haylie and the final four.

Yes, but not certain yet. Should be able to tell in the final 6. If I can still see someone who shouldn't be there in the final 6, I'll know.

Final 6 should be:

Stan
Nathan
Kate
Kim
Haylie
James

Well Sabrina gone, as predicted #:-s

I liked all the performances tonight,
Gosh it's hard for me this season,
I like wayyyy too many of these guys !! O:)

Although I don't mind him, I don't know how Toby is still going,
The whole school must be voting for him...lol.

Unfortunately I think Kate was the worst performance tonight :(

My favourites tonight were Stan and James :-bd

And I still really like Nathan no matter what he sings ! :D

New odds

WINNER
Stan Walker 2.50 - Price warranted. Has smashed it every time he sings.
Hayley Warner 5.00 - Shortened $1.50 like I thought she would. Bit of a personal favourite.
Nathan Brake 6.00 - Still at sixes. Can sing but his sexuality issue will take its toll. If he's not gay yet, he will be soon.
Scott Newnham 7.50 - Gone out 50cents and rightly so. Struggles with confidence issues and will go inevitably.
Kim Cooper 8.00 - Drifted out $2 due to dropping back to bottom three again. Girls don't like her.
Kate Cook 9.00 - In $3 as I figured. Worst performance on the weekend but should get through with support base.
James Johnston 11.00 - Out $2, which is probably equates to good value now, considering I think he's ahead of Brake, Newnham and Cooper.
Tim Johnston 16.00 - In $10 for some reason. Will not win.
Toby Moulton 17.00 - Out $1 but has some appeal with the ladies. Ahead of Johnston and Cooper IMO.

To go this week: Cooper, Tim Johnston or Moulton.

Big favorite of mine also, said from the first time I saw her in auditions, that there is your 2009 winner. This week could be her making (or breaking) - reminds me of a young Pink, but song choice will be so, so critical (please DON'T try "Dear Mr President" or "How Do You Sleep")
Can you guess where I'm calling from, the Las Vegas Hilton...

Tim gone.

My favourite performances tonight:

1. Nathan
2. James
3. Hayley

Bottom 3 next week
Kate -I love her, but I think she needs to go 'home'
Scott - Just not in the same league as the others
Toby - hmm :-k

Felt sorry for Stan tonight, thought he was going to walk off stage there for a moment and try and start again :(

I thought Kim did really well tonight and is very honest with her thoughts.

Stan and Hayley for the final 2.

Scott gone - thought he might be.

Can't believe that James and Nathan in the bottom 3 !!! :o

I liked all but one performance tonight - wasn't keen on Kim's
Also thought she showed a bit of 'negative' attitude towards James Morrison and everyone in general.
Might lose her votes - reminded me of Sabrina !

I really don't know who's going home next.
