There is no way there was 5,000 people at the football yesterday as stated in the sunday mail. They did run out of beer which I was not happy about

exactly. who cares. who cares they won the flag. Apparently winning isnt still enough for them - had to take it one step further and disrupt the reserves players at LSFC by belting someone up....
Congrats to Bostons in the ressies. Too much class.

Getting all a bit much isn't it.
Mallee Park too good but I thought the Rangers showed a lot of character before the inevitable happened. Disappointed but not devastated - half ok about it if you know what I mean

Allegedly a LS older patron was hit in the back of the head by a celebrating pecker in the car park. Why?

Surely the time has come for the 5 clubs of the PLFL to stand up and not tollerate this behaviour. Sure there are a few bad eggs in most baskets and make it look bad at all clubs on occasions but there seems to be plenty of rotten eggs in that particular basket.
Marble Park what would it take for the PLFL to go to a 5 team competition? Would the other 5 clubs have to start up their own league or has the PLFL got the right not to allow a side in as part of their competition? I can just imagine the uproar if they were not allowed to join the PLFL and the only way I can see it happening is if the other 5 clubs snub the PLFL and start their own comp.

I would vote for a 5 team competition next year, would you?

I can see this fast becoming a political statement more so than a sporting issue.

Brad, what's the case with Koonibba up in the Far West, similar behaviour problems or what?

Ive said it before and I'll say it again, the MPFC is a disgrace to the league and the game in general and has no positive impact on football in this area at all. They contribute nothing. They are a breeding ground for the scum that come out of the place such as AS and many many others. They foster the 'us v's them' mentality. Get rid of them.
A 5 team comp. wouldnt be much chop I know, but a lot better for football and society in general.

I agree 100% with this post made earlier from a respected football person and am all in favour for the 5 team competition.

Is the problem really that bad over there or are you just over reacting to a couple of incidents?

Congratulations to the Peckers they were the best side all year and deserved victory on the day. It was great to be part of the day and experience playing in front of that many people. The MRFC is in good place to be competative in upcoming years as you will not see this club bottom out like all other clubs with the exception of maybe the peckers.
Looking forward to seeing the replay of the game and seeing just how good my goal really was.
I think a 5 team competition would degrade the competition a lot but I guess something has to be done as we can't keep going on like this.

Maybe CU or MP???

Think you will find the Koonibba Footy club is on the way to Thevenard SS not the town which for once Leonidis is right the town is about 30km north west of Ceduna.
