Why are we naming teams from the back lines?
Stupid Victorian VFL/AFL convention. This is South Australia and the SANFL where we name teams from the forward lines and behind posts are red (or they used to be).

Burns me up that ABC1 do the same thing with the teams.

Well said. It's just a sign of the times where the AFL says jump, and the media and SANFL ask how high? Stuff the AFL and start doing some things the SANFL way for a change!!!

I'm a strong supporter of forwards first and red behind posts, but in these easy financial times, what would you do to make up the $900,000 the AFL would withdraw if we didn't jump, AH?
