and a hell of alot of more wooden spoons aswell.

Definition of a loser club : one that has more wooden spoons than flags, ie Sturt FC.

Damn you've sucked me in, and this thread was going so well. I'd respond by saying thirteen premierships in 108 years versus 7 in fiffty. I know who has the better average. It was pretty hard to win premierships pre 1964 when we weren't in the league. How about, how many premierships have you won this century ?

But you've got me by one if you were to argue that Sturt have won more premierships than Central (by one) since 1964.
Pity, your mum told you to change teams because Sturt were successful as it's easy to be a front runner. Supporting in adversity is what builds character. Growing up in the Western suburbs I had to put up with front running Port supporters all through school (being the only doggies supporter) during the "lean times". Most had never been to a game.

Dude... you're talking to someone who supported a team through 8 spoons... I know adversity! :-)

Ahh don't worry buddy, I'm just razzing that idiot UK Fan. He's always coming out with diatribe on here rather than good banter, there's just too much venom in his comments, so one has to poke fun at him from time to time.

Trust me, I was really disappointed in 1995 and 1996 when you guys lost against Port. I felt you deserved those flags, so no one was more pleased than me in 2000 when you cracked it.

So like I said to whufc tonight, there's love there... there really is deep down!

I think you'll find a persons height may be a factor in this. ;)
