Just had a hint based on the fact you said on 2 seperate occasions that teams would both love a crack at Central. :D

Geez! This is going well for us, isn't it.

Vassell should be out too... broken ribs from Sunday's game. Went to hospital after the match...

Well lets face it... who doesn't want to beat you... can't go around beating South by 100 points and get much kudos for it!

Us Bays fans would love you to have another crack at the Dogs in 2 weeks too ;)

Serious question for you Blooze:

How do you think the absence of Chambers affected the result? Would Sturt have won with Chambers in the side, same result, or perhaps even fared worse?

For my money I reckon his absence made no difference, but I am only a casual observer and am interested to hear the thoughts of those who are more familiar with Sturt's game.

Massive loss if Chambers doesn't play. I know it's hyperthetical but if yesterdays game was played the same way and Chambers was on the end of Sturts inside 50's i believe sturt would have won comfortably, just my opinion though.

I'd like to think that was the case, but I didn't feel we were getting it in clean enough for him to be a major factor. However, he would have likely got the odd mark and goal that would have put us over the line. But spilt milk and all that...

Had I read a few posts further before I posted my question in the previous post, I'd have seen it was already answered by you blokes. Mea culpa.

I reckon Chambers' absence will be felt more acutely against the Eagles than it was against the Dogs.

I'd probably agree with that about Chambo, but we're now going into hypotheticals, against the eagles Chambo will be sorely missed i think as he's kicked bags against them this year.

One thing I think can be a plus for Sturt with Chambo out, is hopefully a confidence instilled from within the man called FISH for the mighty double blues, he can do the job and tear the game apart if he believes he can. Grab it Fish!

well i will guarentee chambers wont play this week (i told you blokes first last week ;) ) & the 50/50 the week after is a big over statment as it is very unlikely for the remainder of the year & lets be honest had he played yesterday sturt would have won

Well if he was going to try and play and not let anyone know it's a bit late now, good work.

Err... at the risk of sounding controversial;

It will be "Toodley-pip" to 1 of them ;)

Anyone up for some 1/2 time Scones?

cm, you point out where i have said that ?.....how many times did sturt go very short when running through from the wing to half forward where as norMALly they'd go the 40 metre pass to chambers ? & thus this was the difference & thanks for your best wishes ;)

This could be a really close game especialy if Chambers, Vassell & Payne all don't play for Sturt. Shirley will be back for the Eagles, Hentschel won't play. I think there maybe an upset on the horizon.
