A bit quiet here for G/F week. Set to be an absolute Boomer, Roos and Imps in both the senior games. Imps filling the card for the whole day. They have done that before, anyone remember how they went then?
Afraid I only have it in me to wish the big man (huge man actually) Sumner's 15's and the ever exciteable Wingard's 17's all the best for Saturday.

Anyway set to be a balmy 25 degree day on the best looking oval in the universe. I reckon we could safely pitch the match of the big rich city team against the poor struggling rural town punching above it's weight division.

Regardless of the B/S we will spin here this week, I cannot freaking wait.

GO YOU ROOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not sure Dutchman, i've been looking out for that info too. They haven't put it on the RMFL site yet, i'll have to try and get a copy of some recent Standard newspaper editions to see if its mentioned in there.

Totally agree golberg, some very interesting picks. In my opinion Raidis def in TB , hasnt he come runner up twice in the mail medal? Warnest been Mannums best player over the past 5 years. Ewer def top 3 and rigney must have been close. Who actually chose the players? Maybe each clubs president picked there top 3 from there own club.

I assume that you bracketed your comments about Warnest and Quinn because you have some shock and horror that a country footy club might pay some of their exceptional local players to stick around, Goldberg.
Would appear you know more than I do about who is being paid what at Mannum, and lets face it, that friend of a friend informant is rarely wrong.
Taking his info on face value there wouldn't be a club in this league that wouldnt add a couple of hunge to what you quoted on Quinny who has been in ridiculous form all year and although Warnest has had some injuries, his finals form would lead many to think that he will be in amongst Mannum's best Saturday.

Go you Roos!!!!!!!!

Yes some do look a little debateable. Hartmann would be lucky to be in that list as its stating over the past decade. Was having a great year in 2000 though before a broken leg. i think he was captain of RMFL in 2000, played Zone Footy for Southern Districts and was selected in State Country side. If memory serves me right he was leading the mail medal count in 2000 before he broke his leg. Polled around 11 votes in half a season of footy.

And how many games would Berry have played for Mannum from 2000 to 2009? Wouldn't have thought many.

Zadow i would have thought might get in the Ramblers list but not the Mannum one.

It would be interesting to know exactly what the criteria was.

Interesting reading re best player from last decade. How Jervois could leave Ewer & Rigney out. One Mail Medal winner & one 100 + goals.
Imps how they could leave Garrett out 3 time B&f winner & 2 time r/u up in mail medal.
Mypo could not possibly have put Joe Pedler in after 1 year when Brad Martin was left out.
