full credit to the haddens hillbillies 5th to GF in is a superb achievement, although i am hearing that johno is still saying that it was his ground work in 08 that set 09 up.

The magpies won't want to be too over confident this week, the panthers old boys harvey, doeke and reimann have been here before and will be looking for a swan song this week.

Maybe a good way for them to bow out.
Are you anticipating a changing of the guard at pantherland Pinch?
My old mate Shooby informs me that the last time these two Barossa powerhouse's met was way back in 1972.
Nobby, Zok, Mick and Chucky all rang me this morning and said;
"Thank allah that it is an all Barossa final, rather than an all Gawler final. I will now get my bonus this year".

Think you could throw J Rathjen into that mix, would be the oldest player in the league. I think he's 40+.
Pinchy - Where does your assistant coaches loyalties lie? Seen him wearing his foundation colors on Saturday.

there is a few blokes getting on in footy years at ango so it will have to happen sooner rather than later - tobasco can't carry these old blokes forever.

Will Bascombe be fronting up this weekend for the GF ?

Would hate for those 16 stiches to get openend up

I can tell you boys that Lubba's job is as safe as houses , will be hard to move him on after 2 premierships. Has a great list but you still have to make it work , you can lead a horse to water but you cant make it drink.

Unless there is a major de-railment in the next 6 days, he will be there with bells on.
Has a great record in the last game of the year. Pinchy will confirm this.
Look forward to see the B-TRAIN v Prior battle.
My uncles house was safe aswell, not untill the bloody 'Minister for Transport' built the Northern Express way on it.

one only needs to look at how the lions went in 05 or 06 when he was last there - sh-t by my recollection, can't see him wanting to be part of that again.

Just has a case of déjà vu.
Here goes the pre-season talk coming from the South camp again.
Question: Why on earth would he want to play for the Angle Vale Lions?
It will never return to the McGrath era.

Good luck to both clubs this week....

Should be a good contest....
Question is... Are Ango supporters going to make a banner for the A's??? and If so, is the "B Train" going to be able to fit through it or will they make an extralarge one???

In all seriousness, should be a cracker out there, I think I will wait till after the juniors finish to roll up and find a nice spot near the fence!

Mate, i dont know what you were watching in 2007... Proko was dominant for the lions however they missed the finals by 5 games!!
