Look at them go. I must say after the Prelim Final of 03 and being witness to Collingwood supporters first hand at the G ( would have hated to have gone to Victoria Park back in the day ) I have had a very healthy dislike of the AFL Magpie. Of course part of the job description of a Port Adelaide fan is to dislike Adelaide so Saturday night threw up quite a test for me, who did I want to win?

Well, I dont live near, work with or speak to many Collingwood fans on a day to day basis so that helped but I really, really dislike Collingwood but I had to laugh when Tippett goaled late watching all those Colligwobbles come back, then Truck holds onto Anthony and the Crows hearts are broken. Must say with the extent of Port Adelaide's shocking year I can now only draw any enjoyment at the expense of others misfortune and I must say I reall liked Saturday nights game.

More so the "this will hurt for a while" type comments. Lovely.

At least when round 22 finished Port fans were happy to see the end of 2009, Crow fans can suffer all summer long thinking of what might have been. Lovely.
PAFC. Forever.

LOOK OUT, WE'RE COMING!

Stop being a typical Cows fan and blame your team for the loss. They were 5 goals up for christ sake
(Sorry to all the real Crows supporters for the 'typical Crows supporter' comment. I know most of you can handle a loss)

Then why say "TYPICAL crows supporter"? And what the hell would u know about what the majority of us think anyway??????
I'll speak on behalf of MYSELF and not the rest of the crow fanbase.
Last night saw two high quality football clubs go flat out at each other for 120 minutes. Even when the crows were coasting through the first quarter you could see Collingwoods presure was far superior to anything the Crows had seen in the last three weeks. The first quarter saw the Crows make Collingwood pay for their turnovers........in the third quarter the Pies made Adelaide pay for their skill errors and slow ball movement. The last quarter was just simply a dogfight between two teams who desperatly wanted to win as you would expect in a final. The Crows had the chance to end this game before half time in the second quarter but missed three sitters infront of goals which would have seen us 7 up at the change and effectivley the end of the game as a genuine contest.
As for the free kick at the end of the game to Anthony...........I would suggest if its a free kick on a wing then its a free kick in the goal square. If Rutten had done that on the wing.................it's a free kick. Simple as that. The umpires had umpired that way for most of the night. Tippet recieved two free kicks for head high contact, and one for a hold simular to the one paid to Anthony, that resulted in Adelaide goals that were a little soft..........but certainly there to pay. If they had NOT been paid then crows supporters would have every right to be upset. The umpires paid those "soft" types of free kicks all night so why not in the last 30 seconds?
I would suggest however that it is a shocking way to see your teams season end and perhaps the AFL umpiring coaches need to go back to the old fashioned "swallow the whistle" when it comes to finals. If your not paying the types of free kicks that Tippett recieved then the free kick on Anthony at the end of the game isn't paid either and both sets of supporters are left with what they really want.............the match decided off the boots of the players.

Obviously it was in jest halo or I wouldn't have put the apology sentence underneath it. You must be another 'typical Crows fan', having a sook and not having a sense of humour ;)
