Does anyone know how they work the fixture out,

The 6 teams that start the year off with a home game all finish the season with a home game aswell.

Luck of the draw. With 11 games half the sides will get 6 home games and half will get 5, there's nothing that can be done about that. Mind you, Ramblers have 6 home games so were not complaining. Bazza and his boys will have to come to us again which is always handy too.

Im glad we didnt get the Coromandel double like last year though!

With Bloods now living at Seaford Rise, im sure he was happy to see WYC play home to ICC, sheidow, coro ramblers and coromandel and then away to North Haven. Unlucky there bloods.

I think we have a pretty tough draw before christmas, so if we are 3 and 3 at christmas i think we will be in a good position to come home strongly.

WYC with 5 home games this year in the A grade. Fair enough i guess because the last couple of years we have had 6 home games.

Lets just hope that with this decent draw for Plympton that we use it as an advantage and hopefully win. This also means getting numbers out on the track and it all start with pre season. It has been encouraging to see so many good juniors out at pre season but it is about time the senior players come out so that the A grade expecially are not a joke come round 1.

We played Adelaide Indians yesterday in a trial. There bowling needs to improve, they bowl a little short for section 2 I would think, they fight amongst themselves, this caused them to take ages to bowl ther 40 overs, there batting will be the key for them although we bowled short, they are very good on the pull shot. They might get in a bit of strife with umpiring, a few of them arent sure with the rules. All in all it was a fantastic hit out for both clubs, played in the right spirit. I also saw there opening batsmen come out to bat with left handed batting gloves so turns out that he bats right handed but has his hands the wrong way around suprisingly plays very straight!

Bit harsh CK, i think Doubleday is 40 something so has probably deserved a go in the lower grades.

He played in 2 A grade premierships about 20 years ago at North Haven so he would be in his mid 40's.

With 6 overs to go they needed 48 then with 2 overs they needed 5 anyway we checked the score later and the scorebook wasnt filled in properly some of the bowlers werent written in and so I really dont know. It really was a mess.

Is that because they hit 43 or because the scorebook was that far out?

Was it worth the while of both clubs? A decent hit out. What sort of team did Nth Haven put on the park? How did you go Bazza?

I dont think they hit that many, but we played some kids that will probably play C grade and a few older blokes. Got a look at a couple of recruits and a bloke that played c grade last year, him and Christie put on a hundred odd for the first wicket befor I retired them. I made 8.

There are far worse players getting around mate but you guys do have some good young bats coming through.

Who does everyone think the top 4 teams will be this year? Surely WYC are favourites but Ramblers, Sharks and Plympton will all be right up there. Don't write off the Sheidow boys though, I still believe they will make the top 4.

WHAT!!!! i was expecting a ton.... i thought i showed you how to play awsum shots... hahaha!!! forgive me im still drinking since saturday... go u dogs!!!! i really hope Nth Have are more competitive this year... been in that situation b4 but i like the system you are implementing.... got some great juniors... when i chat with my bro Nth Haven comes up because he made his 1st ton against you guys... there is mutual respect... sh*t drive though... hahaha.. i personally cant make a run out there.... im talking poo.. peace out
