I really wouldn't play him in the league though. While I think the guy has some talent, I'm just not convinced he's up to league standard, he has magic here and there, but I feel he struggles in high pressure games.

So is that a no or yes ???

For those who cant get a copy of the Sunday MAiL
It was a quote from Luke Norman, not Norman Gunston

I think we can win today with the team that we have. It all depends on who slots into that position. We win when our midfielders dominate the game, when we don't have that domination or at least break even, which happens from time to time with Centrals and just about all the time with Glenelg, then we lose.

... so for me, I don't think we're out of todays game, though we're quite hampered.

As for winning the premiership, I'd agree though that without Chambers, our chances are seriously diminished. At this stage I'd be confident of saying that we'll finish 3rd again. Might win today, but lose from then on...

Just my thoughts...

Well one thing Sturt fans can hang their hat on is that should we lose, it won't be as much of an annoyance as it otherwise would had Chambers played... if we win, well then, Centrals will look a tad silly, as they have a real head start here...

As I mentioned earlier, IMO Sturt need a Plan B if their free running game is shutdown today. Nothing highlights how bad things can happen more than Adelaide's performance last night in the AFL semi-final when Collingwood shutdown the Crows in the 2nd and then put their foot on their throat in the 3rd.

Hopefully (for Sturt) they can counter that tactic against the Dogs today, otherwise they're gone.

On the other hand, if the Dogs can't close down the game in tight, then it could easily be a blowout.

Really looking forward to the game today ...

Is there any truth to the rumour that Norman will sit Chambers behind Sturt's goals just in case the sturt players get confused and try to kick it to him in the stands?
