MG should sign very soon i think. Will be a very good appointment at Oval avenue.

Good work boys ... hope you got a commission for working all that out!

Now who's going to tell the respective clubs what their appointments are? ;)
Dunno, I’m just an idiot.

My mail is Bassett is pretty close to be over the line at Norwood, and that (as mentioned previously), Godden is the next Eagles coach - I've had this from two very knowledgable sources now.

As with all rumours, I guess we just wait and see, but I think MG will indeed be at Oval Avenue next year.

CP
Didnt he sign with the NTFL already.

I believe so mate, but my understanding is he has an out clause.

Godden does seem the most logical one if Rogers & Jefferies are excluded due to personality issues . Mickan is nothing if not a very good " teacher " ! He would represent a popular choice amongst the faithful , unlike the other two I just mentioned ( mainly Rogers due to his aloofness ) .

Godden's record speaks volumes of the coach and character he is.

Dont get me wrong, I am a huge fan of Andy Collins, but would love to have our former Grand Final Captain Luke Norman and great club man in Godden back at the club.

Good luck to Michael and no doubt the Eagles will be very happy with his appointment.

What is Godden's record? Remember him as a player for Westies, but don't know much about him besides that.

I'm gonna miss God's. He will be a great fit for the eagles, he has turned around the careers of a number of bays players who are league regulars now. Top bloke(tm) too.

Given all the talk about Neil Craig tonight, maybe he should apply for this job...half the Crows supporters want him sacked.

he was also a crows player many years ago but had crippling knee injuries, yes he is a top bloke & IF it is him that coaches wwt they'll do very well & you could certainly do a lot worse than have mickyG as coach

ps, got the reserves out of jail today with a come from behind (by about 5 or 6 goals) win over port
