He had the guys arm clearly held, anyone could see it. The umpire would have been incompetent if he didn't pay it, probably the most obvious free of the night! Rutten almosst pulled the guys arm out of the socket! And I was cheering for the Crows!

What a game to watch. I have a great disliking of both teams and at the start of the night wasn't to fussed on the game. After half time I was on the edge of my seat and found myself jumping up and down as the game ebbed and flowed. That is how you want to se finals played.
Commiserations to the Crows supporters and congrats to the Pies.

I'm not disputing that it was a free kick, as to the letter of the law it was. But I just think that it was a bit soft in that part of the ground, at that point in the game.

I just think it's crap that a decision like that effectively decides the game.

Why oh why did Craig go defensive in the 2nd quarter when they had the Pies on toast? You can do that and still score against poor teams but not Top 4 teams....they just let collingwood build confidence by letting them get the hands on the ball and it slowly built from there, 49 mins without a goal from a team that was playing great attacking footy in the first 1/4 is a disgrace

Got to give that Umpire credit, it was a tough call that he could have let go but he was brave for calling it and it was the correct call...

Tippett got 2 free kicks in the final quarter and both were there but they were more iffy than the last one Collingwood got.
