Never said I like Kochie or Guy Sebastian, Pearl Jam is better than good though.

I like personalities that have some edge to their humour ( if they are trying to be funny ) or some content to their statements ( if they are trying to be serious ) sadly Kyle has neither of these.

Calling someone a "goon" or "boofhead" is not very cutting edge IMO.He reverts to school yard style insults whenever pressed.

I think there's been an over reaction to his concentration camp line. Careless? Yes. Intentionally disrespectful to what happened? No.

He's got very rich from being a "shock jock". That's his thing. It may well be his only "thing", but it's been successful for him. Remember that his target demographic is high school kids!

I think what this is really still about is that stupid stunt with the lie detector. He'd got out on a longer and longer leash until he finally crossed the line. So now he's on the short leash for a while. Zero tolerance. It's now over the top but his rivals smell blood I reckon!

Suck it up Kyle, you shouldn't have set up that stunt with the 14 year old girl! I am sure he'll survive. There was some suggestion he may simply take his gig overseas for a while and get away from the flack he's getting here.

Political correctness is only a relatively new thing (early 90s), while making jokes about concentration camps has always been off limits.

I've always insisted here that I was not as "rightest" as some assert. ["Right" is another matter. ]
I have been a Friend of the ABC - except for the period when it became a blind Keating supporter in the 1980s - and as I've said here before, I did vote for Gough Whitlam.
I was also looking at voting Labor federally before Beasley was dumped for "Mad Mark" the election before last.

And, "no" the propanda channels usually kow-tow to the incumbent government, unless it looks very likely to lose.

I never listen to/watch/pay attention to anything Kyle Sandilands has done/going to do/will possibly do, as he is a nobody- his (alleged) "talent" is being an "in your face" shock jock.
Now Austero have ridden the wave of his success (I use the term "success" in it's broadest context...), they turn on him & cut him loose when the PR machine is suddenly put in reverse.
I don't like the public persona of Kyle Sandilands, but unfortunately, the people who should be held accountable over recent events won't.

As the dust begins to settle around Kyle Sandilands, the 2DayFM shock jock has come out swinging in a "tell-all" interview with OK magazine.

Kyle 'it's not my fault' Sandilands has defended his line of questioning during the radio rape scandal and claimed he was not to blame for the way it escalated in an OK interview with his wife Tamara Jaber.

The Sandilands interview comes complete with expansive pictures of the radio host's Rolls Royce, boat and 'palatial four-bedroom home'.

Despite recent apologies, Kyle falls far from taking responsibility for comments he made during that segment - in which a 14-year-old girl was made to take a lie detector test - choosing to blame the show's promotions department, the programming department, the legal department and of course, the media.

He has compared his situation with the media focus on New York's Twin Towers attack.
