If Mahoney throws it in at Jervois, (which i think he will) is it a fair call alot of players will depart with him?

Its a bit rich complaining about the umpires last saturday considering the free kick count was 29 to 21 Mannums way ( the umpires own figures) and Mannum had 9 in the first quarter of which 8 were paid by 1 umpire (with a mannum connection).
Its a fact of life pigskin we need umpires and what weve got is what weve got so unless your going to get of your arse and do the job or get your club to supply some why dont you stop whinging.
Every club reckons they get hard done by the umpires and thats the way it has been since footy began.

I don't know too many serious supporters who are actually blaming umpires for Mannum's loss, in the cold hard light of day. Certainly emotions were hot at the end of the game, time for us to get over it and get into this weeks game.
Can't relax for 5 minutes against that freaking impressive Imps side who are not invincible, just need a very good side's undivided attention for 4 full quarters.
The crowd at Mannum G/F day will be enormous if the Roos get in, cant see any logic at all in the statement that the league would be better off with an imps/ramblers g/f. Would end up costing them a fortune I reckon.

I think there would be a bigger crowd for Imps v Ramblers. They probably have the two biggest followings in the league and is the biggest rivalry in the league. The two clubs hate each other and we would have people coming out of the woodwork to see an Imps and Rambler GF. It's what people have been waiting for, for a long time. With Ramblers players back I think they will probably knock Mannum off this week.

I heard he may be staying on but just as a player and Wayne Deacon taking over as head coach...

Without any doubt there would be a bigger crowd GF day if Imps & Mannum played. Ramblers have no supporters because everyone hates them. Whoever plays Imps I cannot see them beating them especially on the bigger oval.

Not sure about Wayne, but I know for a fact Mahony and Rigney will not be at Jervois next year. I would very much doubt whether Sam will even coach next year.

Trev would be linked to about 50 clubs already!
I know two front runners would be Noarlunga and Goolwa.

Mate word is that Zac is targeting a couple of M/V boys to join him down there. I won't say who they are, but is the player you are referring to from M/V?

Interesting to see that O'Malley from Sturt may be a chance to play for the Roos in the finals. He would be a big boost. Imps would nearly unbackable favourite, but an injury to a few of their key players could see them beatable in the GF especially if its wet.

Was having a look at the RMFL site, it mentions Mail Medal night on 7th September. They also mentioned there will be a list of each club's 5 best players ever as well as 3 best since 2000.

Will be interesting to see some of the names mentioned. Here's a few names i can think of:

Best ever:

RAMBLERS
Bradley Paech
Bohdan Cybulka
David Ridgeway

IMPERIALS
Greg Zadow
Brett Lienert
Robert Cichowski

MANNUM
Dean Mobbs
Brenton Sickerdick
Lee Adams

JERVOIS
Neil Nankivell
Geoff Lokan
Bill Lokan
Ian Phillips
Trevor Rigney

TAILEM
Bohdan Cybulka
Mervyn Kartinyeri
Terry Connolly

MENINGIE
Wayne Sanders
David McKechnie
Tim Richards
Jamie Gibbs

MYPO
Andy Moo
James Zadow
David Dickinson

Any one got any news on the top poll getters from each team?? did muffy get the most for tailem??

Bit rough on the Lakesiders there bank!! Finished the season nicely & would have had a far bigger impact then Tailem on the finals race. If they can keep there Norwood boys, they have something to work on

Ramblers v Mannum

Mannum will be too smooth, too good, & should be very motivated after last weeks narrow loss. The only thin that could make a difference in this game is the Oval. Plenty of space for the Rambler runners (of which they have plenty). If it becomes a shootout, the Chooks are half a chance.

Roo's by 17-26 points
