Been speaking to a few of the Trinty lads this week and they are shattered about the weekend....

Do people think they were stiff not go up? I know I am going to get the usual cliche response about winning and the finals etc but they were the form team coming into the finals if I am not mistaken.

to be honest, before the match i hated the fact that if trinity won they would go from 6th last year to getting promoted (and yes, i kno BL went from 2nd to last to first). heccies back in 07 were in a similar situation losing to golden grove in the prelim after leading the whole match. trinity n heccies have always had good games between each other and they seem like a decent bunch of blokes. hope them and clg do well next year.

As for Corby (the son) he should be playing higher. A class above in Div 6. I'd say he'd make the transition to Div 2 (possibly DIV 1 if PNU go up) quite comfortably. Whether or not he ends up going there is another matter.

Have heard that he may be out to SHOC next year, like his brother Tom did a few years back.

Word from the cousin of a brother who is looking after a cat owned by the daughter of the chairman of Brahma Lodge is that Walton, Payne, T. McKee and R McKee are out for tomorrow. All due to the fact they have found out they have no heart and need surgery to put one in....Seriously, all this rubbish is neither here nor there. No excuses for players who are out, just bring your best to the game and let it be on. I wouldn't expect a body building comp to get in the way of a GF, especially from the division's No1 player.

Can anyone from BL confirm that the club has already paid for t shirts with 09 premiers on them could be a costly mistake  or a good gamble that pays off :D :D

Going by his gut, he is over-due and will have to be induced tomorrow at 3pm. Also needs his baby brother there to hold his hand.

100% incorrect..the shirts have been designed...just like every other club playing in the GF tomorrow...if we win the game a phone call will be made and a preliminary run of shirts delivered early in the evening with the remainder later on.

Is that enough to stop the BS that goes around every year?

Should be a massive day at Salisbury Oval, something new this year with the hugely successful 'Pickles Bar' being located under the verandah in front of the clubrooms selling imported & premium beers like Miller Draft, Miller Chill, Budweiser, Boag's St George and others, as well as the main bar inside the club and the BBQ/bar located between the clubrooms and the grandstand. Shouldn't be too hard to find a drink.

And if you're on the other side, there's a BBQ/bar in a caravan out there for your food and drink.

Enjoy. Will see some of you down there no doubt.
