And they let Ben Nason go why ??? He was told that he wasn't good enough for reserves footy ... Good chance he will be drafted this year. Great Call Magpies

Tony Bamford has been appointed but i Dont know why they haven't announced it yet ..

Not sure if that is the case Martrin Leslie was interviewed the other night and wasnt impressed with the professionalism of the club and i hear maybe Greg Anderson is being spoken to.

Another past player of the club had a meeting last week & after 5 mins he couldn't wait to get out of there.

I hope whoever gets the job goes in & sticks to his guns as far as game plans, structures etc are concerned, it might be a good idea to get rid of the current old school heading the board as they are in a world of their own which is hurting the club, if not you'll have a hell of a time changing for the better of the club.
Just ask Matthew Knights, he's still being blamed for their recent ( last 5 years ) non success.

Daniel Batson is from Nhill in the Wimmera of Victoria, rookie listed at Carlton in 2006 then moved to Adelaide to finish his Uni.

Someone is stretching a very long bow if they think he is a product of the magpies junior development program...
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Wasn't Scott Hodges, was it?

Not sure how they can even suggest that any more. Seems to be doing a lot better with Essendon than expected going by his results at the Magpies.
It's all the SANFL's fault.

Answer to your 1st question Barto is no as i spoke to him at Alberton saturday & he has no interest in a role down there.
As far as Knights & his first year at Alberton he only missed the finals by 1 win but given a couple more years & players taking onboard his new structures & game plan i have know doubt they would of been alot more successful than the current 5 years, i honestly think the club realises that now.
Yes he's doing a great job at Essendon.
