What do people think about putting travis cloke in the backlines?
His job is to kick GOALS, but time after time he lets the side down by missing them and it really **** me off..He's a big unit and can kick a ball but not between 2 white poles for some reason.. any thoughts?

I can settle for Geelong, Footscray, Adelaide, Brisbane or ... gulp ... C-c-c-collingwood winning the flag - as long as it's not bloody St Kilda. That would be just too much!

You seem to have a big problem with the Saints Benchy. Like it or not, they'll be very hard to stop for this year's premiership. And as far as respect goes, buying premierships, cheating the salary cap, John Elliot and Juddy the eye gouging Visy green ambassador gets you less respect than a club that has racked up 26 spoons.

I know too many of their supporters ... all of then have brand new merchandise and believe that the AFL started around 2001. They love to lord it over me because 'you've never beaten us' (?!?) but they quickly block their ears and go la-la-la when you give them a dose of reality and tell them about the string of 20-goal beltings we used to give them at Princes Park, Moorabbin and VFL Park.

Yes, we have been pretty poor in this decade and paid the price to the point we were on the verge of ceasing to function only four or five years ago. No way of getting around that and only a fool would ignore that. But you must look at the full history of things and learn to take the good with the bad.

Some of these thirty-something 'Saints' fans I am sure will be off the bandwagon again when the losses start building up and they are not right up there every year come September. Meanwhile, I have been there from 1979 (when I was 5) enjoying the good times in the 80s and 90s and riding the vicious bumps of the previous few years to the point where the rise over the last two years has been extremely satisfying - not as good as premierships of course but we can see that we should be over the bad times for a while at least.

Your Juddy reference was poor timing - how about Essendon and Lloyd last week, as well as Hawthorn and Bateman (and Clarkson and Brown) in the days following, and the other indiscretions from the other 13 clubs that have been 'conveniently ignored'. Every club has people who get reported, suspended or involved in incidents that are less than savoury, so you have to have a balanced argument.

John Elliott - what a shocker! Did you get to see the Herald-Sun article on the weekend? How dare he say not one bit of the problems our club has endured in this decade was his fault. More like 99-100% of it was his fault. The comment about if he stayed on to fight the AFL charges, then we wouldn't have been fined and we would have kept all the draft pick made me laugh and feel violently ill at the same time. Keep him away from the club!

Two Aussie blokes, Kev and Bruce die at the same time and find themselves in Hell. The Devil pays them a visit to see how they're
getting on and finds them in shorts and t-shirts, enjoying a BBQ....

"Is this place not hot enough for you?" asks the Devil.

Bruce says "Oh mate..we're from Australia...we love the heat. It's just like a summer's day."

Feeling angry, the Devil decides he'll fix these two and turns the heat up to maximum. Everywhere in Hell, people are wailing and moaning from
the heat and satisfied with the result, the Devil decides to check back in on the two Aussies

He's furious to find Kev and Bruce flipping the snags on the barbie, knocking back a couple of stubbies in their thongs and singlets,
laughing and chatting.

"How can you guys be comfortable in this heat?" screams the Devil. Everyone else in Hell is absolutely miserable, but you two
are actually enjoying it!"

"Awww come on mate...says Kev. I spent last summer in Darwin. It's actually nice to have some dry heat for a change"

The Devil storms off, scheming how to fix these two. After thinking about it for a while he hits on an idea. If the two Aussies love the
heat so much, he's gonna turn it all off, which he does. After a night without heat, Hell is 40 below. Icicles are hanging off the roof and if the
residents were unhappy about the heat, they are now bitterly miserable from the cold.

The next morning the Devil checks back in on the two Aussies. He finds them jumping for joy, laughing and carrying on like they're having the time
of their lives. The Devil is beside himself with rage and screams "WHAT IS GOING ON? How can you two be happy about this?"

Kev says...Mate, don't you know? Hell's frozen over!...COLLINGWOOD must have won the Premiership!
