Icon of this state? Give me a break.

It is your standard, run of the mill BBQ, Same thing you get at every SANFL ground.

The best part about the Westies BBQ is ordering. So much fun seeing how confused the staff get with their "ticket" system.

Love the Westies BBQ - and the Ethelton lot will reap the benefits. On Sunday they had the option of sausages or sausages. In lieu of the stone cold pies I had sausages.

When Port tried to join the VFL, and undermined SANFL independence, I thought they should be cast out and replaced by a team called Westport.
Perhaps it will finally happen... ;)

Why would not they amalgamate with the Eagles who are right next door?

They called it the AFL, and wanted an SA team - any SA team - to support its appearance of legitimacy.
I still reckon we should have thrown Port Adelaide out then, and hung out for a national league without far too many teams in Melbourne.
However, we are stuck with it now.

Can't see it happening but if it does the Crows will gain a new member and the SANFL will hold no longer hold any interest for me.

We are finally improving, it's not our fault they are failing at the moment.

That's right, ANY team, even a holier than thou Norwood, who didn't get to say yes quickly enough, beaten again by Port.

Back to the name of the new club-

Pest Adelaide?

Coorongs Pies?

Wolverberton? (my fave)

Also fatalberton would have to change his login to fatspectrum or fatmond or fatcitymazda

West have a bright future ahead of them.
Why do they have to share that with Port?

That would be a little difficult as both clubs were approached simultaneously.

No they weren't, Norwood were approached by the VFL many years before Port took up the offer they did. Mid 80s from memory. It was pretty common knowledge.
