Couldn't get out to this one, but doesn't sound like I missed much. Looks like it was a pretty open game, only 21 tackles for South :?

Good personal performance for Torney to go out, but not the result he would have been after.

Did anybody go near Archard at all during the match? 47 touches of it :vom:

Sean O'Keefe picking up 55 disposals for Sturt against West at Richmond in 2006 and not polling a Magarey vote comes to mind.

What about Darel Hart in 1990 against West Adelaide. He had 57 touches, kicked six goals and didn't get a Magarey Medal vote. Doug Thomas said on radio the following Saturday morning after the count that it was the most disgraceful casting of votes that he had ever seen.

Chris McDermott also had anincredible game stats wise against Woodville at Woodville in the late 1980s and didn't get a vote.

Mind you some dickhead who writes for the Advertiser will probably see fit to not give him a vote and deny him winning a comp that is rightfully his.

James Allan winning should keep Drebin happy :D ;) .

Not a bad effort for Paul Thomas to only finish 5 votes shy of the winner, considering he missed 5 games with a broken finger.

Well done to Jimmy Allan on winning the award...
