Totally agree with ya LF on Jake Mcmillan. The kid was the difference. He works hard for a young kid & as for just bombing it, he didnt waste to many possies.

Only saw til half time of the A's but Felipe was great to watch.
Also was Portlock injured cause he spent alot of time in the forward pocket??

Agreed that McMillan had a better than good game from what i heard. I think it is good to see him back up the mail medal win. There was a lot of negative talk about him winning and he showed why he was the winner.
I (for the record) never said he was a bad player.
But the Grand final will be interesting, he needs to go one extra step, because in grand finals the men are separated from the boys.

LF stop bringing up old posts, one would say your trying to stir the pot. Dont everyone forget that the 17s has dropped a huge amount compared to last year, better players last year, better to watch and less mistakes... maybe that is why Jake McMillan won you just have to look at how many he polled last year in a "better" comp to prove that. LF i would worry more about getting your side away from straight sets after losing zero games throughout the season, to worry about how jake mcmillans hair is looking

Stirring the pot would involve "talking" negatively not praising someone who is playing good football. I couldnt name too many people that got more votes in a mail medal count in the years leading up to their "last" year in a colts grade, so that mutes that point and just because I am posting on a forum on an internet site doesnt mean i have lost focus on the junior colts. Keep up the good tamdem work though boys. It makes me wonder????. Gen Y and inch by inch signed up at the same time, have the same number of posts, stick up for eachother and both have south adelaide and salisbury listed as 2 of their favourite clubs. Your not the same person by any chance?

mate, i have been on safooty since the end of last football season, go onto the mclaren site and check the first few pages as i am on there. High votes? pretty sure simon pistilli got 30 last year, Sean Beath 29 the year before and Tyson Reid in the mid 30's LF you have no idea what your talking about really.... you have no clue if you can tell me that this years 17s can match up with last seasons name the top 5 mail medal pollers and i bet they dont come close to last years top 5

Last years colts comp was a great comp if you want to go into medal votes have a look at Kenn Campbell from Goolwa mate he is still able to play colts this season, last season he played 10 games and from memory only lost it by 4 votes. If he had played the season he would have beaten everyone by 10 plus votes and if he had played this year by 20 plus votes.
I remember a Mclaren colt getting on here and shooting his mouth of like a little hero and A-Mum was even pulling him into place as he was way out of his league this could be another one of these Mclaren lads with a possible double user name!!!

A couple of good points inch by inch and some good examples of quality players who fit the bill, but i still think that in general most kids progress to be better players and higher vote getters on their final year. anyway case closed

Me and Inch the same person, quite halarious really? you dont think either of us would be stupid enough to make the exact same detail would you? [not that im starting an argument, just reassuring we are not the same people] we are from 2 opposite clubs.

A grade, eiter strath or creek will hold willunga as late as halfway through the third then the D's running away.
B's either way, creek looking for revenge and McLaren with the young legs.
BTW inch.. are you really from salisbury?

I guess everyone at the GSFL and Myponga will be happy with the weather for this weekend. The oval should be in good nick and some interesting games.

Langhornes injury list and player availability will be the big influence.
Feast....Sturt are playing this weekend
R Follett...out for 6 weeks with a back
T Follet ...was off in the last quarter
James...Came off in the last quarter, but just buggered i think
Dellatorre...out for a couple of weeks
Moore...knee
Murgatroyd...knee
Golding..????

They will need a lift from Cleggett, Potts and McLeod

Strathalbyn who appear to be a lot more direct this year with a lot less back door handballs, at close to full strength have a real chance.
The physical pressure applied by Langhornes against Willunga in the first half needs to be repeated against Strath.

Yep, injuries are causing problems at the wrong time of year that's for sure. Me thinks the Senior Colts getting knocked out on Sunday might be a blessing in disguise for both the B's & A's.

Fishing for info BJ??

I actually honestly don't know mate, I'm just speculating. I'm a sibling of a couple of Creek footballers but that's where my connections to the club finish, so can't give the 'official' goss you're looking for there. Wouldn't even know if the rules allow it to be honest.
