Talk on the national game

See, I told you blokes you wouldn't win by ten goals and as usual I was right. 8)

Imagine not going into a final without a ruckman. I was watching the game and the commentators said that Adelaide's average hit outs to advantage for a match was 8 a game. Halfway through the second quarter the Crows had 11 hit outs to advantage and the midfielders were dying of leather poisoning.

The Crows are the real deal and not pretenders. I have to say that now because they have the ability to kick goals and that tends to win you football matches. They've kicked two of the three highest scores of the season in the last two weeks but Collingwood, Geelong and St Kilda are all very good defensively so the next final(s) should be more interesting viewing for the neutral at least than the Crows v Bombers final. I turned of at halftime and watched Rambo II because it was less of a slaughter.

I'm glad Alwyn Davey wasn't playing, means I didn't have to see the little shit diving for free kicks, diving when an opposition player pretends to hit him, and dropping the ball when he gets run down and tackled yet somehow because he is a quick little shit with a fancy name its not holding the ball and he gets a free?

It was bad enough with guys like NLM and Mcveigh etc getting into Vince just because he is a better player than anyone on Essendon's overrated list.

I think most smart punters knew the Crows were going to win by plenty playing a very very very depleted Essendon side, nothing to really gloat about to be honest.

You can only beat whos out there. Essendon at full strength is still depleated.

Adelaide played well and at times when the margin was blowing out I wondered if a big win was going to be good for them next week. After thinking about it over a few beers I think that Adelaide made alot of mistakes, turnovers, poor kicks into their F50 at times etc, so I think there's room for improvement, which I think Craigy will focus on.

everytime the camera crossed to craigy in the box he was either shaking his head or looking very annoyed....a bit to work on to fine tune a couple of things for this coming sat night. but what a way to win your 1st final 8)

Crows by over 60 points was paying $3. That's reasonably short for a big margin, so yes, I think that price reflects common sentiment that this was going to be a pasting.

3 highlights for me:

1. Knights goal from the boundary in the 2nd term on the wrong side of the ground for a leftie, brilliant.

2. Vince slaughtering the opposition despite heavy attention.

2. Big Jimmy Sellar dragging himself off the canvas to get back on the ground after looking like he'd received a knockout blow.

Can't wait for Saturday night! :D

How funny did he look coming off the ground? Lol. Gold.

On BV, they tried relentlessly to get under his skin, especially Lovett-Murray who gave him a few cheapies.

He held his nerve, and carved them up all night. He's a class act.

It was interesting to see the Essendon snipers out again last Friday night! maybe Clarko and Brown are on the money.

Was great to see Berni Vince rip them a new a$$ hole in the contested footy stakes, mayeb if the Dons concentrated on that rather than punching blokes behind the play then they would have kicked and extra 2 goals (bunch of hacks)

Great win by the Crows the whole team did there bit.
