England vs Australia-2nd ODI

Postby Gozu » Sun Sep 06, 2009 5:25 pm

It starts tonight from 6:15pm on Fox Sports and from 6:30pm on SBS. Michael Clarke's captaincy wasn't too flash on Friday night so hopefully that's rectified tonight.

Trouble with our line up is we have too many carpet burning orthodox good batters
No big hitters
White is the only batsman who will smash sixes when he jump starts his innings
That leaves 1 genuine big big hitter, Johnson who bats 8

8/249 is competitive
MJ 43 off 23 balls
Cant rely on the number 8 to bail the team out all the time

MJ 3/24 last game, runs tonight, whatta player

Watto!

1.2 overs 2 wickets for 0 runs  The most staggering thing about this is that he's managed 8 balls without doing his hamstring ;)

Exactly right! The bloke we miss most is Andrew Symonds to up the run rate, not push it around. who's the man to take this role?? I know some people like Birt. Voges?- I don't think so
