goolwa junior colts first loss of the year to willunga, myponga senior colts must have suffered from a week off and play below their usual standard to lose to mt compass... credit to mt compass, were always at the drop of the ball and played yank oval alot better... b grade vale over creek and just left as creek were 2 goals to zip over willunga

Dont know much bout the Goolwa junior colts, but i would almost be certain that Myponga thought the game would be a walk over.. well deserved to Compass. B grade should be very intersting to see who will face langhourne next week. for some reson something is telling me it will be McLaren V. Strath. as for A grade, willunga should settle and pump creek.

Bad luck to Goolwa JC's on losing. Willunga Junior Colts have always seemed to turn it up a notch or two come finals.

I saw the last half of the Myponga V Compass game. Compass played very well, dissappointing to see a few of the Myponga boys 'turn' on each other with negative comments and the likes towards the end of the game.

McLaren v Langhorne in the B Grade was tight all day, before McLaren came away with it. Good fight till the end.

Left at half time in the A's and the score was something like 7-5 to 3-5 Langhornes way.

doesnt surprise me at all that myponga turned on each other. they might want to re-asses because that sort of attitude in finals doesnt get anywhere and teams will destroy you for it.

i think the A grade would be an upset to see willunga go down, does anyone have the result for the game?

Have been 'texting' around Gen Y,
Have been unable get hold of a result as of yet :(

PS: and must emphasise that some, not all of the Myponga boys turned negative

was a close senior colts game but u could scene that compass had the slight upper hand in the last quarter. i don't think that either both teams played to the best of their ability. i feel sorry for the young runner of myponga (hutchy) giving away a 75m penalty for being in the 50 during a kick out:(.... thats where i felt the game was put beyond reach for myponga as it resulted in a goal.

Yes Z-Mac,
I felt for the runner as well,
He was absolutely devistated,
But hey it happened in the AFL last night,
So I think he can be forgiven.

O:)

senior colts was a cracker game today, pongy we in it until well into the last quarter when compass kicked the last 3 goals late in the last game. i dont think they went in cocky at all 'Gen Y' i think compass just played better footy when it came down to the crunch, im not sure whether many of pongy's youngsters would have experienced finals before and it showed with the intensity. they'll need to rectify this before next week.

I think he may have thought that it was a goal like many of the players and supporters there and didnt react quick enough. Thats football. hopefully the myponga 17s can bounce back next week and get there first win in finals for alot of them.

Hey guys, heard a story there was a couple of streakers at the Saturday final during one of the breaks in the Agrade. Can anyone confirm? Did they get caught up with? Heard one of them stacked it over the fence! LOL

Anyone have any results from the games today?

Heard Strath A's got up by 10, not suprising at all that even though they are young, they have a lot more experience in football than compass.

Any other results?
