Had a look at some maps and came up with either Pipeline road or Weetulta road

there is the Agery/Moonta road but that goes straight into Moonta without a T intersection. So i would be surprised if it said left to Maitland going by the maps

Behind the Photo was to Kadina, to the right is Moonta, to the left is Arthurton & Maitland, the intersection is at Agery
