Moon, you lost the last half of your game on Saturday to the bottom team 5 goals to 3! After a 7 goal to zip first half! Maybe that had something to do with your missing out on percentage, and not any perceived stacking by Virginia? Your destiny was well within your own control and you blew it!

Was this 'Bunga'?. he was gun footballer and good person. Saddened to hear.

No mate, Bunga's first cousin. Brilliant left footed wingman and a ripping bloke

Whats the plan of attack this Sunday Jumbo, a huge test for the young Roosters. Sam Jericho will make a huge difference to that already potent forward line, with Joe Hunt finding his feet in a big way up forward and Thommo continuring his good form I'm tipping HWE by 11 goals

Saturday's game will also be a beauty, Virginia looking the goods in the past few weeks and Mallala starting to gain some important touch at the right time, promises to be a close one again between these two teams. I'm tipping Mallala by 7 points [-o< [-o< .

Well aware of that mate! We are not looking to handball blame. Just curious as to the surprising result in virginia/HB game.

Fair enough! Quite frustrating when a whole season comes down to just a goal or two. As happened to us in 07, missing out on the top 2 on percentage, which cost us. It could be a blessing in disguise though, the chances of it not being a Two Wells/Mallala GF would be small? Although I'm sure Balak and Virginia give themselves a chance, as do we in the A's!

Its going to be very tough - the very experienced Eagles up against the up and coming Roosters at Lochiel. Eagles are performing well this past 5 weeks and in top form, its on the Eagles' Oval - everything points to the Eagles. Roosters have beaten them twice with that potent forward line in the minor round but that counts for nothing come finals.

Yeah, we were 2 wins & 7 losses at one stage of the season. That was our problem right there. Must win early games! I think the B's may be more open than you think Jack. I would be hard pressed to pick the premiers from here but I reckon Balak will go close.

Has been linked to Modbury, but that would be a HUGE signing for the Roosters if true

biggest load of balony i've ever heard. Why would he go there? no friends, family or associates. Plus Roosters could not afford him.

Already written off this year?? Pretty early to be bragging about recruits for next year, might have to get in on the action at Mallala, plenty of time to change his mind yet. I'd presume he'd be coming to watch on Sunday then to get a taste of what they have got, would that be wise?

What does everyone think of the new security setup for this finals season. Rumour is that security will be searching ALL cars upon entry and any alcohol found will be confiscated and be NON-returnable. People will be given the option of parking their cars outside the grounds or losing their alcohol. I think this might upset a few people.

Personally, I don't bring alcohol in so it won't affect me but I'm all for it as long as the hosting clubs increase their bar revenue by more than the cost of security otherwise it defeats the purpose.
