They were dead set terrible yesterday. They definitely wanted the crowed to notice them. They gave a fifty away for one of our players saying "awww".

And that guy with the man boobs looked like a cop on a power trip as did florance.

Most over officiated game I have ever played in.

CN - why change it in finals or halfway through the game? There was nothing different said yesterday to them than any other week apart from maybe wilsch!

Dunno mate.
In the Independent league we've had 50s given away all year for piddly little stuff like that.
Eventually we just learnt not to say anything.
Like I said, the rules are bad, but we've been playing with them all year.

Talking about terrible umpiring, I went and watched the Under 15's yesterday and Trophy Head Stribley was umpiring. He is a disgrace. He was overruling Beechy all day from 150 metres away. If I was Beechy, I would have dropped him. Seriously, that bloke is a joke. I see in the paper last week that he plans on hanging around the Riverland until we have a flood. That is just devastating, because it means we have to put up with him for a long time. I think him and Nick Kossatch should pack their bags and move to greener pastures. What do you think Fully Loaded Man?????
So you've seen everything have you?

Rules are rules and players should realise quickly what NOT to do and say.
I agree.
But when a player gives a free kick away and is disappointed with himself and mutturs his dissappointment about himself to himself and the umpire gives a 50 for it, I think is a hugh overreaction. common sense is all that is required.
Whatever you say CN is politically correct, but the umpires should umpire the game not try and influence it.

And the umpiring was terrible for both teams, not just the team I was barracking for. I'd be interested in Ralph Wiggum's opinion???

This week will be very interesting between Renmark and Waikery! Some big wins against each other during the season. I wonder which Renmark team and which Waikery team roll up on the day? Both seem to have big injury problems atm too!

Thoughts on this week's prelim final in the B grade between Loxton and Renmark?

No offence to Barmera but these are the best two sides running around in the Magoos.

They sure did. A massive effort. As I said, no offence.
Three very good B grade sides this season, I just think two are better than the others.
