If you haven't seen Burton's mark in the 3rd quarter today, make sure you do. Great mark.

Very similar to the Inkster mark in 2006 - jump then a lift.

Amazing mark.

Bad luck Tom Logan. ;)

Am I right in saying the Birdman has never taken MOTY?

Yes, runner up in 1999, along with runner up in the Rising Star Award of the same year. He won more prize money for marks of the week than Lappin did who won it!

Terry Wallace who was at both games (he was commentating for SEN today)mentioned that mark and said Burton's is as good!

Not for mine ... Great mark definitely, but Burton came from a few deep (granted we all like different aspects of high marking, so no right or wrong)

Clark's was a ripper no doubt but Burton's is better.

Very good mark? Yes. Best mark of all time? Not even close.

Really great marks aren't just about blokes getting a good sit and going for a ride. They're marks where great courage is shown or marks under extreme pressure.

Having said that it was enjoyable to watch Burton's mark today. He will probably win mark of the year.

was at the game today and there was a roar when he took it and hen again when they showed it on the big screens.

I was sitting with blues fans around me (till 3/4 time that is) and even they were clapping so it must have been good.

Great grab but I reckon Logan's mark against Hawthorn earlier in the year eclipsed it.

Clark's from the Lions was great. As was Birdman's and Logan's, tough choice. No clear winner this year.

Lloyd took a chest mark last week so clearly he will win it (i still cannot work out how he won goal of the year a year or 2 ago!).

It certainly will be interesting to see who wins out of Logan and Burton. Can anyone confirm is it a panel of judes who decides or by supporters who vote?

Dont get me started on Lloyds goal. 99 out of 100 people can kick a back heel from 1 metre. How many can kick a checkside on the run from the wrong pocket from 50 metres?

Yze's and Motlop's goal were absolutely freakish. Lloyd's effort was nowhere near the same class.
