Geeee you would be happy if you had trained all year and played A grade all year and had to make way in the finals for him!

This player from trinity must be in great shape to play in a big final. Dont think anyone from the lodge will be too worried, they'll just put someone fit on him. As for the 4 on the bench crap, they still have to drop someone from last week that has trained and played all year.

We are all making assumptions here... I spoke to him last night to find out if it was him. Yes he is playing A grade this week however not by his choice. He came back from a 8wk ankle injury (in the Cs) into the B grade and got 2 best on grounds. Coach wanted him in A grade so played the Lodge game and got knocked out. Had last week off to make sure he is right to go this wk and has been picked again. Fitness not an issue he's a machine. Great footy smarts and brings others into the game. I quote him "I will play where the club wants me, i'm there to help them out."

Trinity in a close one.

going to watch clg vs heccies.think it will be a close game with heccies just.clg worrie me with alot of their players seem at ease when in front but struggle when behind.intersted to see the two coaches at work today.was very interested in clgs coaching work last week.lodge vs trinity will also be close but have to stick with the lodge based on their season.if they keep the team play up and dont panic should go straight thru
we stand as one

Is it harsh to laugh at that?

I wonder if that group will go around again for a third crack at promotion to div 5. That will be hard to get up for.

A wise man asked me 2 days ago - How do you win a Div 6 Final...?

The answer he gave me when I said, "I don't know..."

...play Colonel Light Gardens at home!

i think that would have to be heccies best win in a few years. really good game. heccies just infront all day but clg kept nagging. the last quarter was intense. clg scored an early goal but heccies rebounded with 2 goals and the just held on. never seen so many tackles n ball ups in a quarter.
bad luck to clg as well. hopefully they stick together and rebound next year. also i think the hate on harvey is a bit unjust. he is a quality player. good sportmanship as well. heard him say good tackle to a heccies player when he got holding the ball.

yeah def think the hate on harvey is to much he would do everything for his club and that is what what counts the most very good player, also to paul wotton from heccies a couple of our supporters were giving you shit today saying give boothey his medal that doesnt sit right with me i cant stop what people say but i think you def earnt the medal and all the best with the rest of the year for heccies.
You tried your best and you failed miserably..... The lesson is 'never try'

Very slippery conditions which made for a very scrappy game, thought CLG had more run than Heccies but couldn't capatalise on the board and when Heccies played direct to goals from centre cleaances they looked a lot more dangerous than CLG and were perhaps more desperate and determined which is what finals are all about. CLG out again in straight sets and left to ponder what could've been.
