You lost.

You had one chance against us and you blew it. Bad luck.

Score remains 1-nil... that's zippo, zero, zilcharoony, beans, cobblers, bugger all to you... keep winning those flags against Torrens, everyone is real proud...

Is he that good that he was part for the reason you lost last week according to many sturt fans here and on DB.org?

I'd love to think that was the case, but no. Glenelg are just a better side...

I just can't agree with that. If Sturt win, it would just make a loss in a fortnight harder to bear and I'm sure vice versa.

If Sturt win, I'll be pleased the boys turned around a poor second half against Glenelg, but I have to admit, I wouldn't feel any more confident than I would now facing you in the Qualifying Final. I think we have the players to win on the day come finals time, but thinking it and doing it are two different things, again, we had you on toast last year, but we were KO'ed in the last term.

So the way I see it, if we lose, I'd give us a 50-50 chance of beating you in the final.

If we win, I'd give us a 50-50 chance of beating you in the final.

It really doesn't change my feeling either way...

... actually, let me add something, if we win by 15 goals on Saturday night, then I'd probably be more confident than 50-50! :-)

That being the case... my tip is Sturt by 100 points! :-)

This sort of arrogance is misplaced for a team that did sweet FA for 40 years.

Ahh right, so GF appearances matter.

Centrals 11.

Sturt 22.

So we're twice as good as you... cheers for that... we're even more superior than I thought!

and West, North, Glenelg. ANYWAY, isn't the whole point of playing footy to win premierships? So who cares who you beat? All I care about is winning the flag this year, I hope We win Saturday night but if We don't, We will be still in the hunt and in a few weeks, the score could be 1-all. (not that it matters)

I agree the only point of playing footy is to win premierships,it doesn't matter who you play if it has to be Torrens as you say that only means they were better than you that year. The result tonight means squat as the real deal happens in a few weeks, the only thing a win tonight for us doggies does is keep us in with a chance to take top spot and that is only there if the Bays slip up.

I think it will be wet, it certainly is wet now. I think it might suit, to quote Brenton Philips, Our bloody rugby-style of football! It won't be a free-flowing goal-fest, that's for sure!

Sounds like the idiot has already been baited csbowes.

Its like taking candy from a baby sometimes. I dont really know which contradiction to highlight.

The one where you say we shouldnt be so arrogant towards the GFs we lost against you and the Eagles. And then you make the statement 'keep winning those flags against the Eagles everyone is real proud". Not showing alot of respect yourself csbowes.

YEt again I dont know why you guys think you are superior than the Eagles. Or where your arrogance come from. Didnt you mention something about humility ??? I loved how you tried and alligned yourself to the Eagles in 06 and now that hasnt worked you start denegrating them. Well Im pretty sure the Eagles have more than one flag in the past 20 years without a truck load of wooden spoons. Unlike Sturt FC.

How many wooden spoon have Sturt won again ???

For the 100th time yes Im arrogant. When your club wins 7 flags in 9 years without missing a Gf you more than welcome to be aswell.

Until then just going to have to put up with it I guess.

CUTTERMAN wrote:So we fluked it in '02 UK? What a ridiculous thing to say. We were around the mark for nearly every year since '98 and have been pretty well since '02. It's like saying that WWT's flag was a fluke after playing numerous GF's. I hate to bring it up as does every Sturt supporter, but the events after '02 had a lasting affect on the players and wider club. The efforts of Centrals since 2000 have been sensational and unmatched previously and may never will be such is their dominance, however to assume that anyone who has beaten them for a flag is merely fluking it is absurb. What MST has mentioned about the players and coaching staff in their approach to the '02 season and GF is spot on, it's fact. Show some respect and regard UK, it's for this sort of mentality that port supporters and their club became so reviled.

Never said 2006 was a fluke. Can i ask why you brought up 2006 cuterman.???

We are talking about Sturt fluking a win gf day 2002.

Surely your not saying Sturt are like the Eagles in anyway shape or form are you ???

You sure you aren't severley inflating your clubs achievements. I would be hugely offended if i was an Eagles fans to have their recent achievements made comparable to you. Sturt made what 2 Gfs in 5 seasons and have done nothing since. Eagles 5 GF'S in 7 seasons. That is the proper definition of around the mark cutterman. The Eagles completely deserved their flag in 06.

Just shows how desperate you Sturt fans are to prove it wasnt a fluke by trying to allign yourself to the Eagles flag.

And the final contradiction you want to talk about showing respect. Poor Eagles fans.

Maybe if Sturt had made a GF since we could consider it not a fluke. But surprise surprise you have done bugger ye all since.

Move on Sturt fans us CDFC fans know it was a fluke and i doubt any of the other SANFL clubs supporters care about your pathetic ramblings 7 years after the event.
